Week 8 brought us some fierce competition, with teams rising and falling like pins on the lanes. And while the action was intense, it was the exceptional performances that stole the spotlight. But the biggest twist is likely the first-place lead change at the last moment of the season's first half! In a league where female bowlers outnumber Gideon Bibles remaining in room 426 of the Magnolia Hotel in Omaha, JoAnne Barber emerged as a shining star, effortlessly claiming this week's high game with a remarkable 137, and a series of 384 for the women.
