The fourth week of Fall 2009 saw four teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler roll a new personal best game. Andrea Caudillo picked up this week's high game (196) and series (498) for the women. As for the men, John Boren snagged this week's high game with a 247, and high series was earned by Pat Searcy with a 677. Meanwhile, the Tournament of Champions also kicked off tonight, beginning of 13 weeks of one-on-one bowling excitement! Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: BOWLSH!T spent some quality time with BILFs. Even though highlighted by the skills of Travis Kleiner with his 443 series, BOWLSH!T accomplished only 1 win against BILFs. In the midst of this, Scott Murdock dominated BILFs with his 488 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Derrick Grimpo) as his team took the series with 3 wins. BOWLSH!T leaps 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while BILFs move 1 spot to 6th.
On lanes 21 & 22: WWJB chucked gutter balls with No Pinheads. Notwithstanding the leadership of Rich Foster with his below-average 411 series, WWJB got swept by No Pinheads. Across the ball return, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Pat Searcy laid down the law in No Pinheads with his dramatic 677 as they swept the competition. WWJB plummets 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while No Pinheads move 1 spot to 3rd.
On lanes 23 & 24: Split Happens alternated between bowling and dry humping Ebowla. Although blessed by James Long with his 517 series, Split Happens got swept by Ebowla. On the adjacent lane, Jason Carpio reigned supreme in Ebowla with his fantastic 605 as they swept the competition. Split Happens drop 1 spot in the standings to 10th place, while Ebowla moves 1 spot to 4th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Quick Release couldn't stop inappropriately groping Chicks With Balls. Starring Ryan Doll with his 578 series, Quick Release collected 3 wins against the Chicks. In the meantime, Andrea Caudillo commanded the Chicks with her above-average 498 despite her team notching only a single win. Quick Release remains in 2nd place, while the Chicks sink 1 spot to 7th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Rollin' J's matched wits with Sweep The Leg, Johnny. Though featuring Jerry Krall with his 383 series, Rollin' J's accomplished only 1 win against Sweep The Leg. Conversely, David Codding ruled Sweep The Leg with his 565 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Rollin' J's remains in 8th place, while Sweep The Leg remains in 1st.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Pat Searcy ruled Division 1, while Aubrey Moren made quick work of Division 2. Ryan Simonet won Division 3, and Amanda Duncan staked a claim for the Iron Throne in Division 4. Finally, Derrick Grimpo (Division 4) vanquished this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Pat Searcy holds the reins in Division 1; Aubrey Moren leads Division 2; Ryan Simonet runs the show in Division 3; and Derrick Grimpo and Amanda Duncan top Division 4 in a tie.
