Fall 2009 Week 3 Robo-RecapThe third week of Fall 2009 saw two teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. Two bowler roll a new personal best game. Andrea Caudillo picked up this week's high game (150) and series (428) for the women, while David Codding earned this week's high game (247) and series (660) for the men. And the Tournament of Champions divisions are now set, ready for one-on-one action to begin next week! Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Split Happens matched wits with WWJB. Though reinforced by Nick Allegri with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 371 series, Split Happens accomplished only 1 win against WWJB. Conversely, Rich Foster dominated WWJB with his 466 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Split Happens drop 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while WWJB remains in 3rd.

week3On lanes 21 & 22: BOWLSH!T chucked gutter balls with Quick Release. While headlined by Kelly Sands with his above-average 458 series, BOWLSH!T accomplished only 1 win against Quick Release. On the other side, Ryan Doll showed off in Quick Release with his 563 as his team took the series with 3 wins. BOWLSH!T drops 1 spot in the standings to 10th place, while Quick Release remains in 2nd.

On lanes 23 & 24: Rollin' J's deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of BILFs. Even though highlighted by the skills of Jennifer Flohrs with her 312 series, Rollin' J's got swept by BILFs. As for the opposition, Andee Weinfurt called the shots for BILFs with her above-average 400 as they swept the competition. Rollin' J's plummet 2 spots in the standings to 8th place, while BILFs jump 3 spots to 7th.

On lanes 25 & 26: No Pinheads alternated between bowling and dry humping Sweep The Leg, Johnny. Although topped by Corey Weinfurt with his 528 series, No Pinheads got swept by Sweep The Leg. While that was going down, trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) David Codding mastered Sweep The Leg with his commanding 660 as they swept the competition. No Pinheads remains in 4th place, while Sweep The Leg remains in 1st.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Chicks With Balls waged a heated competition against Ebowla. Although blessed by Andrea Caudillo with her 428 series, the Chicks got swept by Ebowla. Simultaneously, Jason Carpio commanded Ebowla with his 494 as they swept the competition. Chicks With Balls drop 1 spot in the standings to 6th place, while Ebowla jumps 2 spots to 5th.

Bowlers paying far too much for well vodka at The 200 Club include: Corey Weinfurt (243), David Codding (247,227), Jason Carpio (206), Ken M. Wilson (237,205), and Ryan Doll (204)

New personal high games were set tonight by Corey Weinfurt (243, previous best 222) and Brett Schroeder (193, previous best 186).

Adding to the excitement, the 660 rolled by David Codding is this season's new high series for men.

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 19&20, 10th-place BOWLSH!T (hcp 10) will match wits with 7th-place BILFs. BOWLSH!T is expected to maintain their current strength as they and split the series with BILFs; while BILFs are forecast to raise their average while they keep the series tied.
  • Moving to lanes 21&22, 3rd-place WWJB (hcp 62) will compete against 4th-place No Pinheads. WWJB might maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while No Pinheads ought to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
  • Then, over on lanes 23&24, 9th-place Split Happens will test their mettle against 5th-place Ebowla (hcp 15). Split Happens will likely maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Ebowla will probably hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
  • Next up, on lanes 25&26, 2nd-place Quick Release will throw some gutter balls with 6th-place Chicks With Balls (hcp 136). Quick Release might maintain their current strength as they win the series; while the Chicks ought to raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
  • Finally, on lanes 27&28, 8th-place Rollin' J's (hcp 223) will hang out with 1st-place Sweep The Leg, Johnny. Rollin' J's are predicted to perform well, yet still manage to get swept; while Sweep The Leg is anticipated to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
