The fourth week of Fall 2009 saw four teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler roll a new personal best game. Andrea Caudillo picked up this week's high game (196) and series (498) for the women. As for the men, John Boren snagged this week's high game with a 247, and high series was earned by Pat Searcy with a 677. Meanwhile, the Tournament of Champions also kicked off tonight, beginning of 13 weeks of one-on-one bowling excitement! Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: BOWLSH!T chucked gutter balls with BILFs. Although topped by Travis Kleiner with his 443 series, BOWLSH!T accomplished only 1 win against BILFs. Simultaneously, Scott Murdock ruled BILFs with his 488 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Derrick Grimpo) as his team took the series with 3 wins. BOWLSH!T leaps 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while BILFs move 1 spot to 6th.
On lanes 21 & 22: WWJB did battle with No Pinheads. Even though highlighted by the skills of Rich Foster with his below-average 411 series, WWJB got swept by No Pinheads. On the other side, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Pat Searcy oversaw No Pinheads with his staggering 677 as they swept the competition. WWJB plummets 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while No Pinheads move 1 spot to 3rd.
On lanes 23 & 24: Split Happens kept grabbing the balls of Ebowla. Notwithstanding the leadership of James Long with his 517 series, Split Happens got swept by Ebowla. On the flipside, Jason Carpio laid down the law in Ebowla with his commanding 605 as they swept the competition. Split Happens drop 1 spot in the standings to 10th place, while Ebowla moves 1 spot to 4th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Quick Release shared a platter of cheese sticks with Chicks With Balls. Starring Ryan Doll with his 578 series, Quick Release collected 3 wins against the Chicks. On the other half of the score sheet, Andrea Caudillo took the lead in the Chicks with her above-average 498 despite her team notching only a single win. Quick Release remains in 2nd place, while the Chicks sink 1 spot to 7th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Rollin' J's took turns kicking the ball return with Sweep The Leg, Johnny. Though featuring Jerry Krall with his 383 series, Rollin' J's accomplished only 1 win against Sweep The Leg. Conversely, David Codding reigned supreme in Sweep The Leg with his 565 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Rollin' J's remains in 8th place, while Sweep The Leg remains in 1st.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Pat Searcy crushed Division 1, while Aubrey Moren clobbered Division 2. Ryan Simonet conquered Division 3, and Amanda Duncan swept Division 4. Finally, Derrick Grimpo (Division 4) won this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Pat Searcy reigns over Division 1; Aubrey Moren governs Division 2; Ryan Simonet leads Division 3; and Derrick Grimpo and Amanda Duncan top Division 4 in a tie.
