Fall 2008 Week 14 Robo-RecapThe fourteenth week of Fall 2008 saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Jennifer Seefeldt landed this week's high game for the women with a 188, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 484. As for the men, Duncan Ferber earned this week's high game (258) and series (598). Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Chico's Bail Bonds matched wits with Livin' On A Spare. Featuring Ken M. Wilson with his 563 series, Chico's celebrated a clean sweep over Livin' On A Spare. Across the ball return, Tom Finley showed off in Livin' On A Spare with his below-average 364 despite his team getting swept. Chico's Bail Bonds remains in 1st place, while Livin' On A Spare remains in 9th.

An irritated Kody waits for Russell to bowl.On lanes 21 & 22: Ain't No Sh!t chucked gutter balls with Bowl Movement. Headlined by Duncan Ferber with his above-average 598 series, Ain't No Sh!t split the series with Bowl Movement. On the other half of the score sheet, Carter Collins ruled Bowl Movement with his above-average 453 as they matched their opponent in wins. Ain't No Sh!t remains in 2nd place, while Bowl Movement sinks 1 spot to 6th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Bad Newz Kennels waged a heated competition against Dave and the Wingers. Showcasing Dennis Laube, Freda Schroeder with their 484 series, the Kennels collected 3 wins against the Wingers. In the meantime, #1 Head-to-Head Rob Kaszuba laid down the law in the Wingers with his above-average 506 despite his team notching only a single win. Bad Newz Kennels remains in 7th place, while the Wingers remain in 8th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Is This Billable? alternated between bowling and dry humping Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty. Though reinforced by Ryan Doll with his below-average 492 series, Is This Billable? accomplished only 1 win against Spare The Rod. In the midst of this, Andrea Caudillo guided Spare The Rod with her above-average 435 as her team took the series with 3 wins. Is This Billable? plummets 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while Spare The Rod jumps 2 spots to 4th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Dios Mios tussled with WWJB. With the strength of Bill Krejci with his 527 series, with kudos to #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Lefty John Boren as well as #1 Head-to-Head , Dios Mios celebrated a clean sweep over WWJB. Concurrently, AJ Taylor dominated WWJB with his below-average 300 despite his team getting swept. Dios Mios leap 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while WWJB remains in 10th.

Bowlers lounging at The 200 Club include: Bill Krejci (209), Duncan Ferber (258), Ken M. Wilson (200,203), and Ryan Doll (212)

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Carl Goetz swept Division 1, while Chris Lewis made quick work of Division 2. John Keck dominated Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4, and in fact we aren't even going to talk about Division 4 as it was a complete embarassment. Finally, Janelle (Laube) Lamar (Division 4) trounced this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz governs Division 1; Aubrey Moren leads Division 2; Carter Collins is in the driver's seat in Division 3; and Lindsay Jamis calls the shots Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:

  • First, on lanes 19&20, 2nd-place Ain't No Sh!t will socialize with 3rd-place Dios Mios (hcp 145). Ain't No Sh!t is expected to have the bottom drop out of their averages as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Dios Mios are forecast to drop their average a bit even as they enjoy their victories.
  • Moving to lanes 21&22, 8th-place Dave and the Wingers will roll against 9th-place Livin' On A Spare (hcp 16). The Wingers might perform well and win the series; while Livin' On A Spare ought to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
  • Then, over on lanes 23&24, 5th-place Is This Billable? will tussle with 6th-place Bowl Movement (hcp 48). Is This Billable? will likely have a bit of an off night and get swept; while Bowl Movement will probably raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
  • Next up, on lanes 25&26, 1st-place Chico's Bail Bonds will chuck some balls with 10th-place WWJB (hcp 146). Chico's might perform well and sweep the series; while WWJB ought to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
  • Finally, on lanes 27&28, 7th-place Bad Newz Kennels will challenge 4th-place Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty (hcp 64). The Kennels are predicted to roll a little low, but split the series with Spare The Rod; while Spare The Rod is anticipated to hold steady as they keep the series tied.

Fall 2008 Week 13 Robo-RecapThe thirteenth week of Fall 2008 saw five teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. One bowler roll a new personal best game. Andrea Caudillo picked up this week's high game (170) and series (468) for the women, while Cory Chorpenning earned this week's high game (286) and series (641) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: WWJB had a rendezvous with Dave and the Wingers. Although blessed by Justin Wehrman with his above-average 451 series, WWJB got swept by the Wingers. On the flipside, Rob Kaszuba guided the Wingers with his above-average 473 as they swept the competition. WWJB remains in 10th place, while the Wingers move 1 spot to 8th.

week13On lanes 21 & 22: Is This Billable? spent a romantic evening with Dios Mios. Highlighting the skills of Ryan Doll with his below-average 510 series, Is This Billable? celebrated a clean sweep over Dios Mios. Conversely, Bill Krejci mastered Dios Mios with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 441 despite his team getting swept. Is This Billable? leaps 2 spots in the standings to 3rd place, while Dios Mios sink 1 spot to 4th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Livin' On A Spare spent some quality time with Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty. Despite being led by Tom Finley with his below-average 355 series, Livin' On A Spare got swept by Spare The Rod. Simultaneously, #1 Power-Ranked Jason Carpio commanded Spare The Rod with his outstanding 611 as they swept the competition. Livin' On A Spare drops 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while Spare The Rod moves 1 spot to 6th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Bad Newz Kennels accepted a challenge by Bowl Movement. Regardless of the star power of Dennis Laube with his below-average 450 series, the Kennels accomplished only 1 win against Bowl Movement. In the meantime, Travis Kleiner called the shots for Bowl Movement with his commanding 521 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Bad Newz Kennels plummet 3 spots in the standings to 7th place, while Bowl Movement moves 1 spot to 5th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Ain't No Sh!t entered a showdown to the death with Chico's Bail Bonds. In spite of top-billing by Cory Chorpenning with his 641 series, Ain't No Sh!t got swept by Chico's. On the other side, Ken M. Wilson laid down the law in Chico's with his 584 (along with a major contribution by #1 Head-to-Head and Most Valuable Bowler Chris Lewis, as well as #1 Power Ranked Jason Carpio) as they swept the competition. Ain't No Sh!t drops 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while Chico's move 1 spot to 1st.

Bowlers who lied to their significant other claiming bowling was running long then went out for after-bowling drinks at The 200 Club include: Aubrey Moren (207), Cory Chorpenning (286), Jason Carpio (253), Ken M. Wilson (221), and Travis Kleiner (208)

A new personal high game was set tonight by Cory Chorpenning (286, previous best 279).

Adding to the excitement, the 286 rolled by Cory Chorpenning is this season's new high game for men.

The 286 rolled by Cory Chorpenning is the new 2nd-best game in league history!

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though Ken M. Wilson came closest), while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Justin Wehrman came closest). Andrea Caudillo decimated Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4, and in fact we aren't even going to talk about Division 4 as it was a complete embarassment. Finally, Chris Lewis (Division 2) walloped this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz leads Division 1; Aubrey Moren calls the shots Division 2; Carter Collins tops Division 3; and Lindsay Jamis holds the reins in Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 19&20, 1st-place Chico's Bail Bonds will hang out with 9th-place Livin' On A Spare (hcp 137). Chico's are expected to perform well and sweep the series; while Livin' On A Spare is forecast to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
  • Moving to lanes 21&22, 2nd-place Ain't No Sh!t will throw some gutter balls with 5th-place Bowl Movement (hcp 189). Ain't No Sh!t might perform weakly as they get swept; while Bowl Movement ought to raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
  • Then, over on lanes 23&24, 7th-place Bad Newz Kennels will share a couple of pitchers with 8th-place Dave and the Wingers (hcp 108). The Kennels will likely maintain their current strength as they win the series; while the Wingers will probably raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
  • Next up, on lanes 25&26, 3rd-place Is This Billable? will challenge 6th-place Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty (hcp 24). Is This Billable? might maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Spare The Rod ought to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.

While that was going down, Rob Kaszuba guided the Wingers with his staggering 521 as they matched their opponent in wins. Bowl Movement remains in 6th place, while the Wingers remain in 9th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Ain't No Sh!t took turns kicking the ball return with Bad Newz Kennels. Featuring Cory Chorpenning with his above-average 663 series, with props to #1 Head-to-Head bowler , Ain't No Sh!t collected 3 wins against the Kennels. As for the opposition, Freda Schroeder commanded the Kennels with her above-average 511 despite her team notching only a single win. Ain't No Sh!t remains in 1st place, while the Kennels sink 1 spot to 5th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Dios Mios alternated splits with Livin' On A Spare. Led by Bill Krejci with his 520 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Kris Hiestand, Dios Mios celebrated a clean sweep over Livin' On A Spare. Conversely, Tom Finley dominated Livin' On A Spare with his above-average 424 despite his team getting swept. Dios Mios remains in 3rd place, while Livin' On A Spare remains in 8th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: WWJB alternated between bowling and dry humping Is This Billable?. Although blessed by AJ Taylor with his above-average 355 series, WWJB got swept by Is This Billable?. Across the ball return, Ryan Doll reigned supreme in Is This Billable? with his 584 as they swept the competition. WWJB remains in 10th place, while Is This Billable? moves 1 spot to 4th.

Bowlers paying far too much for well vodka at The 200 Club include: Cory Chorpenning (245,234), Duncan Ferber (211), Ken M. Wilson (203), Kendall Kukowski (227,233), Rob Kaszuba (200), and Ryan Doll (219,222)

A new personal best series was rolled tonight by Kendall Kukowski (657, previous best 640).

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Kendall Kukowski dominated Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Dennis Laube came closest). Kris Hiestand whipped Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Janelle (Laube) Lamar came closest). Finally, Phil Schroeder (Division 2) conquered this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz holds the reins in Division 1; Aubrey Moren reigns over Division 2; Carter Collins calls the shots Division 3; and Lindsay Jamis runs the show in Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 19&20, 3rd-place Dios Mios (hcp 47) will challenge 5th-place Bad Newz Kennels. Dios Mios are expected to perform well, yet still manage to lose the series but avoid getting swept; while the Kennels are forecast to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
  • Moving to lanes 21&22, 7th-place Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty will throw some gutter balls with 10th-place WWJB (hcp 60). Spare The Rod might perform well and win the series; while WWJB ought to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
  • Then, over on lanes 23&24, 2nd-place Chico's Bail Bonds will meet with 4th-place Is This Billable? (hcp 55). Chico's will likely maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Is This Billable? will probably hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
  • Next up, on lanes 25&26, 9th-place Dave and the Wingers (hcp 214) will face 1st-place Ain't No Sh!t. The Wingers might perform well, yet still manage to get swept; while Ain't No Sh!t ought to drop their average a bit even as they rack up a sweep.
  • Finally, on lanes 27&28, 6th-place Bowl Movement will tussle with 8th-place Livin' On A Spare (hcp 20). Bowl Movement is predicted to maintain their current strength as they and split the series with Livin' On A Spare; while Livin' On A Spare is anticipated to raise their average while they keep the series tied.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
