The thirteenth week of Fall 2008 saw five teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. One bowler roll a new personal best game. Andrea Caudillo picked up this week's high game (170) and series (468) for the women, while Cory Chorpenning earned this week's high game (286) and series (641) for the men. First up, on lanes 19 & 20: WWJB spent a romantic evening with Dave and the Wingers. Although blessed by Justin Wehrman with his above-average 451 series, WWJB got swept by the Wingers. Countering this, Rob Kaszuba guided the Wingers with his above-average 473 as they swept the competition. WWJB remains in 10th place, while the Wingers move 1 spot to 8th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Is This Billable? accepted a challenge by Dios Mios. Topped by Ryan Doll with his below-average 510 series, Is This Billable? celebrated a clean sweep over Dios Mios. As for the opposition, Bill Krejci commanded Dios Mios with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 441 despite his team getting swept. Is This Billable? leaps 2 spots in the standings to 3rd place, while Dios Mios sink 1 spot to 4th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Livin' On A Spare kept stealing sips of beer from Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty. While headlined by Tom Finley with his below-average 355 series, Livin' On A Spare got swept by Spare The Rod. While that was going down, #1 Power-Ranked Jason Carpio called the shots for Spare The Rod with his dramatic 611 as they swept the competition. Livin' On A Spare drops 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while Spare The Rod moves 1 spot to 6th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Bad Newz Kennels shared a platter of cheese sticks with Bowl Movement. Notwithstanding the leadership of Dennis Laube with his below-average 450 series, the Kennels accomplished only 1 win against Bowl Movement. On the other side, Travis Kleiner oversaw Bowl Movement with his terrific 521 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Bad Newz Kennels plummet 3 spots in the standings to 7th place, while Bowl Movement moves 1 spot to 5th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Ain't No Sh!t shared a few beers with Chico's Bail Bonds. In spite of top-billing by Cory Chorpenning with his 641 series, Ain't No Sh!t got swept by Chico's. On the flipside, Ken M. Wilson mastered Chico's with his 584 (along with a major contribution by #1 Head-to-Head and Most Valuable Bowler Chris Lewis, as well as #1 Power Ranked Jason Carpio) as they swept the competition. Ain't No Sh!t drops 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while Chico's move 1 spot to 1st.

A new personal high game was set tonight by Cory Chorpenning (286, previous best 279). Adding to the excitement, the 286 rolled by Cory Chorpenning is this season's new high game for men.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though Ken M. Wilson came closest), while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Justin Wehrman came closest). Andrea Caudillo had her way with Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4, and in fact we aren't even going to talk about Division 4 as it was a complete embarassment. Finally, Chris Lewis (Division 2) got the better of this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz reigns over Division 1; Aubrey Moren is in the driver's seat in Division 2; Carter Collins tops Division 3; and Lindsay Jamis calls the shots Division 4.
