The tweltfh week of Fall 2008 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Jennifer Seefeldt landed this week's high game for the women with a 195, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 518. As for the men, Cory Chorpenning earned this week's high game (262) and series (627). Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Dios Mios celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with Bad Newz Kennels. Though featuring Bill Krejci with his 516 series, Dios Mios accomplished only 1 win against the Kennels. On the flipside, Freda Schroeder showed off in the Kennels with her above-average 518 as her team took the series with 3 wins. Dios Mios remains in 3rd place, while the Kennels move 1 spot to 4th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty shared a few beers with WWJB. Led by Will Jeter with his 458 series, Spare The Rod collected 3 wins against WWJB. On the other side, Justin Wehrman reigned supreme in WWJB with his 414 despite his team notching only a single win. Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty remains in 7th place, while WWJB remains in 10th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Chico's Bail Bonds had some one-on-one time with Is This Billable?. Showcasing Carl Goetz with his 557 series, Chico's collected 3 wins against Is This Billable?. In the midst of this, Ryan Doll laid down the law in Is This Billable? with his above-average 613 despite his team notching only a single win. Chico's Bail Bonds remains in 2nd place, while Is This Billable? sinks 1 spot to 5th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Dave and the Wingers spent a romantic evening with Ain't No Sh!t. With top billing by Rob Kaszuba with his 447 series, the Wingers split the series with Ain't No Sh!t. Meanwhile, Cory Chorpenning guided Ain't No Sh!t with his 627 as they matched their opponent in wins. Dave and the Wingers remains in 9th place, while Ain't No Sh!t remains in 1st.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Bowl Movement couldn't stop inappropriately groping Livin' On A Spare. With the strength of trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) Carter Collins and his dazzling 537 series, Bowl Movement collected 3 wins against Livin' On A Spare. While that was going down, Tom Finley drew the spotlight in Livin' On A Spare with his stupendous 519 despite his team notching only a single win. Bowl Movement remains in 6th place, while Livin' On A Spare remains in 8th.
Bowlers sneaking into The 200 Club include: Carter Collins (200), Chris Lewis (214), Cory Chorpenning (262), Duncan Ferber (202), and Ryan Doll (256)

A new
personal high game was set tonight by Jennifer Seefeldt (195, previous best 194). In addition, a new
personal best series was rolled by Tom Finley (519, previous best 465).

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Carl Goetz clobbered Division 1, while Chris Lewis routed Division 2. Carter Collins decimated Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Dave Winger came closest). And, finally, nobody claimed victory in the Interdivisional bracket, and in fact we aren't even going to talk about this bracket as it was a complete embarassment.
In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz dominates Division 1; Aubrey Moren holds the reins in Division 2; Carter Collins is in the driver's seat in Division 3; and Lindsay Jamis runs the show in Division 4.
NEXT WEEK: - First, on lanes 19&20, 10th-place WWJB (hcp 18) will hang out with 9th-place Dave and the Wingers. WWJB is expected to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while the Wingers are forecast to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
- Moving to lanes 21&22, 5th-place Is This Billable? will compete against 3rd-place Dios Mios (hcp 6). Is This Billable? might maintain their current strength as they and split the series with Dios Mios; while Dios Mios ought to hold steady as they keep the series tied.
- Then, over on lanes 23&24, 8th-place Livin' On A Spare (hcp 52) will roll against 7th-place Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty. Livin' On A Spare will likely roll decently, yet still manage to get swept; while Spare The Rod will probably hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
- Next up, on lanes 25&26, 4th-place Bad Newz Kennels will match wits with 6th-place Bowl Movement (hcp 100). The Kennels might maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Bowl Movement ought to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
- Finally, on lanes 27&28, 1st-place Ain't No Sh!t will face 2nd-place Chico's Bail Bonds (hcp 84). Ain't No Sh!t is predicted to roll a little low and get swept; while Chico's are anticipated to raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
