First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Bad Newz Kennels did battle with 3 Dudes and a Doll. With the strength of Freda Schroeder with her above-average 528 series, the Kennels collected 3 wins against 3 Dudes and a Doll. Conversely, Chris Rigdon called the shots for 3 Dudes and a Doll with his below-average 484 despite his team notching only a single win. Bad Newz Kennels remains in 1st place, while 3 Dudes and a Doll sinks 1 spot to 3rd.
On lanes 21 & 22: You Don't Know Sh!t took turns kicking the ball return with Dios Mios. Led by Cory Chorpenning with his below-average 572 series, Don't Know Sh!t collected 3 wins against Dios Mios. On the flipside, Bill Krejci commanded Dios Mios with his below-average 505 despite his team notching only a single win. You Don't Know Sh!t leaps 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while Dios Mios remain in 4th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Sofa King Good tussled with ?. Regardless of the star power of Angela Bradford with her 489 series, Sofa King got swept by ?. In the meantime, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head John Coleman guided ? with his above-average 588 as they swept the competition. Sofa King Good plummets 2 spots in the standings to 7th place, while ? moves 1 spot to 5th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Dr. Strangelanes, Or How I Learned To Stop Opening And Earn The Belt traded lane malfunctions with Ebowla. Topped by Seth Gunderson with his below-average 467 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Shaun Crockett, Dr. Strangelanes split the series with Ebowla. Simultaneously, Travis Kleiner showed off in Ebowla with his 471 as they matched their opponent in wins. Dr. Strangelanes, Or How I Learned To Stop Opening And Earn The Belt leaps 1 spot in the standings to 6th place, while Ebowla remains in 8th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: It's Britney, Bitch celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with Split Happens. Even though highlighted by the skills of Jeff Unseld with his above-average 401 series, Britney accomplished only 1 win against Split Happens. Meanwhile, Ryan Simonet shined in Split Happens with his above-average 478 as his team took the series with 3 wins. It's Britney, Bitch remains in 9th place, while Split Happens remain in 10th.
Bowlers who lied to their significant other claiming bowling was running long then went out for after-bowling drinks at The 200 Club include: Angela Bradford (204), Cory Chorpenning (211), and Kendall Kukowski (217)
A new personal high game was set tonight by Ben Carmean (188, previous best 177).
In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though Kendall Kukowski came closest), while John Coleman swept Division 2. Kris Hiestand won Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Ben Carmean came closest). Finally, Rob Kaszuba (Division 4) vanquished this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Kendall Kukowski tops Division 1; Dennis Laube governs Division 2; Kris Hiestand holds the reins in Division 3; and Aubrey Moren is in the driver's seat in Division 4.
