Spring 2008 Week 10 Robo-RecapThe Spring 2008 position round is now history, and and the championship will be on us before we know it! The tenth week saw three teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler roll a new personal best game. Angela Bradford landed this week's high game for the women with a 204, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 528. As for the men, Kendall Kukowski snagged this week's high game with a 217, and high series was earned by John Coleman with a 588. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Bad Newz Kennels waged a heated competition against 3 Dudes and a Doll. Led by Freda Schroeder with her above-average 528 series, the Kennels collected 3 wins against 3 Dudes and a Doll. As for the opposition, Chris Rigdon guided 3 Dudes and a Doll with his below-average 484 despite his team notching only a single win. Bad Newz Kennels remains in 1st place, while 3 Dudes and a Doll sinks 1 spot to 3rd.

week10On lanes 21 & 22: You Don't Know Sh!t had a rendezvous with Dios Mios. With top billing by Cory Chorpenning with his below-average 572 series, Don't Know Sh!t collected 3 wins against Dios Mios. Conversely, Bill Krejci reigned supreme in Dios Mios with his below-average 505 despite his team notching only a single win. You Don't Know Sh!t leaps 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while Dios Mios remain in 4th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Sofa King Good accepted a challenge by ?. In spite of the prowess of Angela Bradford with her 489 series, Sofa King got swept by ?. Countering this, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head John Coleman laid down the law in ? with his above-average 588 as they swept the competition. Sofa King Good plummets 2 spots in the standings to 7th place, while ? moves 1 spot to 5th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Dr. Strangelanes, Or How I Learned To Stop Opening And Earn The Belt faced off against Ebowla. Headlined by Seth Gunderson with his below-average 467 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Shaun Crockett, Dr. Strangelanes split the series with Ebowla. Across the ball return, Travis Kleiner took the lead in Ebowla with his 471 as they matched their opponent in wins. Dr. Strangelanes, Or How I Learned To Stop Opening And Earn The Belt leaps 1 spot in the standings to 6th place, while Ebowla remains in 8th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: It's Britney, Bitch spent some quality time with Split Happens. Though reinforced by Jeff Unseld with his above-average 401 series, Britney accomplished only 1 win against Split Happens. While that was going down, Ryan Simonet oversaw Split Happens with his above-average 478 as his team took the series with 3 wins. It's Britney, Bitch remains in 9th place, while Split Happens remain in 10th.

A new personal high game was set tonight by Ben Carmean (188, previous best 177).


In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though Kendall Kukowski came closest), while John Coleman creamed Division 2. Kris Hiestand swept Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Ben Carmean came closest). Finally, Rob Kaszuba (Division 4) got the better of this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Kendall Kukowski governs Division 1; Dennis Laube dominates Division 2; Kris Hiestand leads Division 3; and Aubrey Moren runs the show in Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 19&20, 4th-place Dios Mios (hcp 129) will challenge 2nd-place You Don't Know Sh!t. Dios Mios are expected to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Don't Know Sh!t is forecast to drop their average a bit even as they enjoy their victories.
  • Moving to lanes 21&22, 5th-place ? (hcp 58) will share a couple of pitchers with 6th-place Dr. Strangelanes, Or How I Learned To Stop Opening And Earn The Belt. ? might perform well, yet still manage to lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Dr. Strangelanes ought to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
  • Then, over on lanes 23&24, 7th-place Sofa King Good will compete against 8th-place Ebowla (hcp 121). Sofa King will likely have a bit of an off night, yet still manage to win the series; while Ebowla will probably hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
  • Next up, on lanes 25&26, 3rd-place 3 Dudes and a Doll will spend some quality time with 9th-place It's Britney, Bitch (hcp 128). 3 Dudes and a Doll might maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while Britney ought to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
  • Finally, on lanes 27&28, 1st-place Bad Newz Kennels will throw some gutter balls with 10th-place Split Happens (hcp 96). The Kennels are predicted to maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Split Happens are anticipated to raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
