The thirteenth week of Fall 2008 saw five teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. One bowler roll a new personal best game. Andrea Caudillo picked up this week's high game (170) and series (468) for the women, while Cory Chorpenning earned this week's high game (286) and series (641) for the men. First up, on lanes 19 & 20: WWJB spent some quality time with Dave and the Wingers. In spite of the prowess of Justin Wehrman with his above-average 451 series, WWJB got swept by the Wingers. Simultaneously, Rob Kaszuba laid down the law in the Wingers with his above-average 473 as they swept the competition. WWJB remains in 10th place, while the Wingers move 1 spot to 8th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Is This Billable? chucked gutter balls with Dios Mios. Highlighting the skills of Ryan Doll with his below-average 510 series, Is This Billable? celebrated a clean sweep over Dios Mios. In the meantime, Bill Krejci dominated Dios Mios with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 441 despite his team getting swept. Is This Billable? leaps 2 spots in the standings to 3rd place, while Dios Mios sink 1 spot to 4th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Livin' On A Spare had a delightful time with Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty. In spite of top-billing by Tom Finley with his below-average 355 series, Livin' On A Spare got swept by Spare The Rod. On the other half of the score sheet, #1 Power-Ranked Jason Carpio oversaw Spare The Rod with his fantastic 611 as they swept the competition. Livin' On A Spare drops 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while Spare The Rod moves 1 spot to 6th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Bad Newz Kennels took turns kicking the ball return with Bowl Movement. Regardless of the star power of Dennis Laube with his below-average 450 series, the Kennels accomplished only 1 win against Bowl Movement. Countering this, Travis Kleiner showed off in Bowl Movement with his marvelous 521 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Bad Newz Kennels plummet 3 spots in the standings to 7th place, while Bowl Movement moves 1 spot to 5th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Ain't No Sh!t couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of Chico's Bail Bonds. Although topped by Cory Chorpenning with his 641 series, Ain't No Sh!t got swept by Chico's. As for the opposition, Ken M. Wilson mastered Chico's with his 584 (along with a major contribution by #1 Head-to-Head and Most Valuable Bowler Chris Lewis, as well as #1 Power Ranked Jason Carpio) as they swept the competition. Ain't No Sh!t drops 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while Chico's move 1 spot to 1st.

A new personal high game was set tonight by Cory Chorpenning (286, previous best 279). Adding to the excitement, the 286 rolled by Cory Chorpenning is this season's new high game for men.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though Ken M. Wilson came closest), while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Justin Wehrman came closest). Andrea Caudillo vanquished Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4, and in fact we aren't even going to talk about Division 4 as it was a complete embarassment. Finally, Chris Lewis (Division 2) ruled this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz runs the show in Division 1; Aubrey Moren calls the shots for Division 2; Carter Collins reigns over Division 3; and Lindsay Jamis governs Division 4.
