The eleventh week of Fall 2009 saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Sarah Sauer landed this week's high game for the women with a 162, and women's high series was bagged by Andrea Caudillo with a 413. As for the men, Ryan Doll snagged this week's high game with a 240, and high series was earned by Ken M. Wilson with a 617. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Split Happens kept stealing sips of beer from No Pinheads. Though featuring James Long with his above-average 536 series, Split Happens got swept by No Pinheads. On the flipside, #1 Power-Ranked Aubrey Moren shined in No Pinheads with his dramatic 564 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Phil Schroeder) as they swept the competition. Split Happens remains in 10th place, while No Pinheads move 1 spot to 2nd.
On lanes 21 & 22: Rollin' J's traded lane malfunctions with BOWLSH!T. Despite the strength of Jerry Krall with his 382 series, Rollin' J's got swept by BOWLSH!T. Conversely, Travis Kleiner commanded BOWLSH!T with his above-average 483 (with props to #1 Head-to-Head bowler ) as they swept the competition. Rollin' J's plummet 2 spots in the standings to 6th place, while BOWLSH!T moves 1 spot to 7th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Sweep The Leg, Johnny alternated splits with BILFs. Starring Ken M. Wilson with his 617 series, Sweep The Leg collected 3 wins against BILFs. On the adjacent lane, Scott Murdock showed off in BILFs with his above-average 546 despite his team notching only a single win. Sweep The Leg, Johnny remains in 1st place, while BILFs remain in 5th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Chicks With Balls entered a showdown to the death with WWJB. Despite being led by Andrea Caudillo with her below-average 413 series, the Chicks accomplished only 1 win against WWJB. In the meantime, Rich Foster guided WWJB with his above-average 479 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Chicks With Balls remains in 9th place, while WWJB jumps 2 spots to 4th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Quick Release faced off against Ebowla. Highlighting the skills of Ryan Doll with his 588 series, Quick Release collected 3 wins against Ebowla. Simultaneously, Jason Carpio ruled Ebowla with his 552 despite his team notching only a single win. Quick Release drops 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Ebowla sinks 1 spot to 8th.
Bowlers slipping into The 200 Club include: Aubrey Moren (222), David Codding (210), Dennis Laube (219), James Long (218), Jason Carpio (214,201), Ken M. Wilson (223), Pat Searcy (206), Ryan Doll (240), and Scott Murdock (225)
A new personal high game was set tonight by Aubrey Moren (222, previous best 213). In addition, a new personal best series was rolled by Scott Murdock (546, previous best 539).
In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Dennis Laube topped Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Rob Kaszuba came closest). Nobody claimed victory in Division 3 (though AJ Hofmann came closest), and Alison Radke decimated Division 4. And, finally, nobody claimed victory in the Interdivisional bracket (though Rob Kaszuba (Division ) came closest). In terms of overall points: Ken M. Wilson and Dennis Laube top Division 1 in a tie; Aubrey Moren reigns over Division 2; AJ Hofmann governs Division 3; and Amanda Duncan dominates Division 4.
NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 19&20, 9th-place Chicks With Balls (hcp 49) will face 5th-place BILFs. The Chicks are expected to perform well, yet still manage to lose the series but avoid getting swept; while BILFs are forecast to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.

- Finally, on lanes 27&28, 6th-place Rollin' J's (hcp 52) will chuck some balls with 4th-place WWJB. Rollin' J's are predicted to maintain their current strength as they get swept; while WWJB is anticipated to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
