A stagnated fifteenth week of Spring 2009 resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and three rolled new personal high games. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (210) and series (499) for the women. As for the men, Rob Kaszuba snagged this week's high game with a 230, and high series was earned by Rich DeYoung with a 592. Meanwhile, Tournament of Champions is officially down to its final eight bowlers, who will face each other next week competing for two cash prizes! Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Sh!t, Another Season matched wits with Turkey Sandwich. With the strength of Duncan Ferber with his 556 series, Another Season collected 3 wins against Turkey Sandwich. Across the ball return, Sarah Sauer ruled Turkey Sandwich with her above-average 403 despite her team notching only a single win. Sh!t, Another Season remains in 5th place, while Turkey Sandwich remains in 7th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends had a delightful time with Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. In spite of the prowess of Ryan Housknecht with his above-average 427 series, Wonder Friends accomplished only 1 win against Schlitz. Meanwhile, Angela Bradford guided Schlitz with her 499 as her team took the series with 3 wins. Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends remains in 9th place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.
On lanes 23 & 24: Rule 6B took turns kicking the ball return with XXX. Reinforced by #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Ryan Doll and his astonishing 583 series, Rule 6B collected 3 wins against XXX. On the other half of the score sheet, Rich DeYoung called the shots for XXX with his phenomenal 592 despite his team notching only a single win. Rule 6B remains in 3rd place, while XXX remains in 10th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Chico's Bail Bonds shared a platter of cheese sticks with WWJB. With top billing by Ken M. Wilson with his 556 series, Chico's collected 3 wins against WWJB. In the meantime, AJ Taylor took the lead in WWJB with his commanding 443 despite his team notching only a single win. Chico's Bail Bonds remains in 2nd place, while WWJB remains in 6th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: No Pinheads accepted a challenge by Chicks With Balls. Headlined by Most Valuable Bowler Dennis Laube and his thrilling 563 series, No Pinheads collected 3 wins against the Chicks. Simultaneously, Andrea Caudillo dominated the Chicks with her above-average 445 despite her team notching only a single win. No Pinheads remains in 4th place, while the Chicks remain in 8th.

New personal high games were set tonight by Rob Kaszuba (230, previous best 209), Brett Schroeder (186, previous best 182), and AJ Taylor (167, previous best 162). In addition, new personal best series were rolled by Ben Wetteborn (450, previous best 436) and AJ Taylor (443, previous best 412).
In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1, and in fact we aren't even going to talk about Division 1 as it was a complete embarassment, while Dennis Laube whipped Division 2. Janelle (Laube) Lamar staked a claim for the Iron Throne in Division 3, and Ben Wetteborn mopped up Division 4. Finally, Ken M. Wilson (Division 1) trounced this week's Interdivisional bracket.
