First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Chicks With Balls couldn't stop inappropriately groping Chico's Bail Bonds. In spite of the prowess of Janelle (Laube) Lamar with her above-average 439 series, the Chicks got swept by Chico's. While that was going down, #1 Head-to-Head Ken M. Wilson ruled Chico's with his fantastic 608 as they swept the competition. Chicks With Balls remains in 6th place, while Chico's move 1 spot to 2nd.

On lanes 21 & 22: XXX couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. Featuring Tiffany Schmidt with her 320 series, XXX split the series with Wonder Friends. Concurrently, Ryan Housknecht laid down the law in Wonder Friends with his above-average 433 as they matched their opponent in wins. XXX remains in 10th place, while Wonder Friends remain in 9th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Sh!t, Another Season spent a romantic evening with No Pinheads. Led by Duncan Ferber with his 559 series, Another Season collected 3 wins against No Pinheads. On the other side, Phil Schroeder dominated No Pinheads with his 476 despite his team notching only a single win. Sh!t, Another Season leaps 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while No Pinheads sink 1 spot to 5th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Turkey Sandwich faced off against Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. Although blessed by Jason Carpio with his below-average 485 series, Turkey Sandwich got swept by Schlitz. On the other half of the score sheet, Scott Murdock, Bob Brunker reigned supreme in Schlitz with their 493 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Scott Murdock) as they swept the competition. Turkey Sandwich drops 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: WWJB shared a few beers with Rule 6B. Reinforced by #1 Power-Ranked Rich Foster and his astonishing 500 series, WWJB collected 3 wins against Rule 6B. As for the opposition, Ryan Doll oversaw Rule 6B with his 502 despite his team notching only a single win. WWJB leaps 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while Rule 6B sinks 1 spot to 3rd.

We are now halfway through the Spring 2009 season, so time is running out for those teams who want a shot at the championship to position themselves. The eighth week saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (202) and series (528) for the women, while Zach Frank earned this week's high game (213) and series (593) for the men. First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Chico's Bail Bonds had a delightful time with Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. Showcasing David Codding with his 557 series, Chico's missed a clean sweep over Wonder Friends by just one pin.Meanwhile, Amanda Zahnweh dominated Wonder Friends with her commanding 406 as her team missed getting swept by just one pin. Chico's Bail Bonds leap 2 spots in the standings to 2nd place, while Wonder Friends remain in 8th.

On lanes 21 & 22: WWJB entered a showdown to the death with No Pinheads. Featuring Most Valuable Bowler Rich Foster and his astonishing 417 series, WWJB collected 3 wins against No Pinheads. Countering this, Aubrey Moren showed off in No Pinheads with his 519 despite his team notching only a single win. WWJB leaps 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while No Pinheads plunge 2 spots to 4th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Turkey Sandwich alternated between bowling and dry humping XXX. Led by #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Zach Frank and his splendid 593 series, Turkey Sandwich collected 3 wins against XXX. On the flipside, Rich DeYoung commanded XXX with his above-average 517 despite his team notching only a single win. Turkey Sandwich remains in 7th place, while XXX sinks 1 spot to 10th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Sh!t, Another Season hung out with Chicks With Balls. Headlined by Duncan Ferber with his above-average 567 series, Another Season collected 3 wins against the Chicks. While that was going down, Janelle (Laube) Lamar oversaw the Chicks with her 413 despite her team notching only a single win. Sh!t, Another Season leaps 1 spot in the standings to 5th place, while the Chicks sink 1 spot to 6th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Rule 6B kept stealing sips of beer from Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. With top billing by Adam Messner with his remarkable 539 series, Rule 6B split the series with Schlitz. In the meantime, Angela Bradford guided Schlitz with her above-average 528 as they matched their opponent in wins. Rule 6B remains in 3rd place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.
