Fall 2003 Week 12 Robo-RecapThe tweltfh week of Fall 2003 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Two bowler roll a new personal best game. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (212) and series (531) for the women. As for the men, Pat Searcy snagged this week's high game with a 224, and high series was earned by David Codding with a 625. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Anchors Aweigh! spent some quality time with Spare Change. With the strength of #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head David Codding and his above-average 625 series, the Anchors collected 3 wins against Spare Change. In the midst of this, Demond Robinson drew the spotlight in Spare Change with his 517 despite his team notching only a single win. Anchors Aweigh! remains in 1st place, while Spare Change sinks 1 spot to 8th.

Jeremy Cline celebrates the passage of medical marijuana in Missouri.On lanes 17 & 18: Bowl me Ishmael! couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of Wolverines. Highlighting the skills of Paul Linder with his awe-inspiring 465 series, Ishmael collected 3 wins against the Wolverines. On the flipside, Thomas Lin shined in the Wolverines with his below-average 453 despite his team notching only a single win. Bowl me Ishmael! remains in 3rd place, while the Wolverines remain in 5th.

On lanes 19 & 20: Atomic Goo faced off against Gutter Minds. Although blessed by Phil Schroeder with his above-average 463 series, Atomic Goo accomplished only 1 win against Gutter Minds. Simultaneously, Pat Searcy laid down the law in Gutter Minds with his 573 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Atomic Goo remains in 6th place, while Gutter Minds move 1 spot to 7th.

Finally, down on lanes 21 & 22: Bowlers of Mass Confusion had a delightful time with Theee Beeelt. Featuring Most Valuable Bowler Corey Weinfurt and his above-average 506 series, Mass Confusion split the series with Theee Beeelt. Countering this, Aaron Weidner called the shots for Theee Beeelt with his 485 as they matched their opponent in wins. Bowlers of Mass Confusion remains in 2nd place, while Theee Beeelt remains in 4th.

New personal high games were set tonight by Marca Robinson (166, previous best 160) and Aaron Weidner (201, previous best 200).

The 212 rolled by Angela Bradford is the new 5th-best women's game in league history!
The 531 rolled by Angela Bradford is tied for the 8th-best women's series in league history!
The 625 rolled by David Codding is the new 5th-best series in league history!


In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: David Codding topped Division 1, while Justin Strelow mopped up Division 2. Phil Schroeder swept Division 3, and Dennis Pruitt creamed Division 4. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz runs the show in Division 1; Pat Searcy dominates Division 2; Phil Schroeder holds the reins in Division 3; and Dennis Pruitt calls the shots for Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 15&16, 2nd-place Bowlers of Mass Confusion will challenge 3rd-place Bowl me Ishmael! (hcp 87). Mass Confusion is expected to perform well and sweep the series; while Ishmael is forecast to raise their average even as they endure a rough night.
  • Moving to lanes 17&18, 8th-place Spare Change (hcp 30) will share a couple of pitchers with 7th-place Gutter Minds. Spare Change might maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Gutter Minds ought to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
  • Then, over on lanes 19&20, 5th-place Wolverines will spend some quality time with 4th-place Theee Beeelt (hcp 4). The Wolverines will likely roll decently and win the series; while Theee Beeelt will probably hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
  • Finally, on lanes 21&22, 6th-place Atomic Goo (estimated hcp 135) will chuck some balls with 1st-place Anchors Aweigh!. Atomic Goo is predicted to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while the Anchors are anticipated to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
