The ninth week of Spring 2005 saw three teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (199) and series (580) for the women. First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Handicrappers had some one-on-one time with The Incredibowls. Although blessed by Amanda Schulte with her above-average 379 series, Handicrappers got swept by The Incredibowls. On the adjacent lane, Carl Goetz shined in The Incredibowls with his above-average 600 as they swept the competition. Handicrappers drop 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while The Incredibowls jump 2 spots to 6th.

On lanes 21 & 22: Sub Parre spent some quality time with Big Pin Pin. Starring Andy Metzler with his above-average 492 series, Sub Parre collected 3 wins against Pin Pin. On the flipside, Brad Zollars dominated Pin Pin with his above-average 446 despite his team notching only a single win. Sub Parre leaps 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Pin Pin sinks 1 spot to 7th.

On lanes 23 & 24: 4 Play couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of Bowlingstar Galactica. Topped by trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) Angela Bradford and her thrilling 580 series, 4 Play celebrated a clean sweep over the Galactica. As for the opposition, Jason Carpio reigned supreme in the Galactica with his miraculous 569 despite his team getting swept. 4 Play leaps 1 spot in the standings to 1st place, while the Galactica sinks 1 spot to 8th.

Finally, down on lanes 25 & 26: All Belt, No Buckle kept stealing sips of beer from Nellielocks and the 3 Spares. With the strength of Nik Domann with his above-average 546 series, the Belt collected 3 wins against Nellielocks. Meanwhile, Dennis Laube commanded Nellielocks with his 506 despite his team notching only a single win. All Belt, No Buckle drops 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while Nellielocks remain in 5th.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Carl Goetz dominated Division 1, while Angela Bradford crushed Division 2. Scott Murdock creamed Division 3, and Andrea Wilson claimed victory in Division 4. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz runs the show in Division 1; Michael Basham calls the shots for Division 2; Freda Schroeder dominates Division 3; and Andrea Wilson holds the reins in Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:

• First, on lanes 19&20, 5th-place Nellielocks and the 3 Spares will hang out with 8th-place Bowlingstar Galactica (hcp 11). Nellielocks are expected to perform well and sweep the series; while the Galactica is forecast to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
