The tenth week of Spring 2005 saw two teams climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Janelle (Laube) Lamar landed this week's high game for the women with a 186, and women's high series was bagged by Angela Bradford with a 505. As for the men, Ken M. Wilson snagged this week's high game with a 244, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 585. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Nellielocks and the 3 Spares spent a romantic evening with Bowlingstar Galactica. Starring Most Valuable Bowler Janelle (Laube) Lamar and her astounding 491 series, Nellielocks collected 3 wins against the Galactica. In the midst of this, Jason Carpio shined in the Galactica with his 489 despite his team notching only a single win. Nellielocks and the 3 Spares leap 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while the Galactica remains in 8th.

On lanes 21 & 22: All Belt, No Buckle deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of 4 Play. With the strength of Demond Robinson with his above-average 555 series, the Belt split the series with 4 Play. On the other side, Ken M. Wilson mastered 4 Play with his fantastic 582 as they matched their opponent in wins. All Belt, No Buckle remains in 2nd place, while 4 Play remains in 1st.

On lanes 23 & 24: Handicrappers had a delightful time with Sub Parre. Though reinforced by Paul Linder with his above-average 426 series, Handicrappers accomplished only 1 win against Sub Parre. Conversely, David Parre guided Sub Parre with his above-average 491 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Handicrappers plummet 2 spots in the standings to 6th place, while Sub Parre remains in 3rd.

Finally, down on lanes 25 & 26: The Incredibowls alternated splits with Big Pin Pin. With top billing by Carl Goetz with his above-average 585 series, The Incredibowls celebrated a clean sweep over Pin Pin. Concurrently, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Bart Smith oversaw Pin Pin with his commanding 446 despite his team getting swept. The Incredibowls leap 1 spot in the standings to 5th place, while Pin Pin remains in 7th.

Bowlers who stripped naked and shared a cozy hottub together in a back room at The 200 Club include: Carl Goetz (214), Demond Robinson (224), Ken M. Wilson (244), and Nik Domann (202)

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Pat Searcy staked a claim for the Iron Throne in Division 1, while Nik Domann ruled Division 2. Janelle (Laube) Lamar rolled her ass to the top of Division 3, and Bart Smith triumphed over his enemies in Division 4. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz tops Division 1; Michael Basham dominates Division 2; Freda Schroeder leads Division 3; and Amanda Schulte runs the show in Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:

• First, on lanes 19&20, 3rd-place Sub Parre (hcp 65) will tussle with 1st-place 4 Play. Sub Parre is expected to perform well, but split the series with 4 Play; while 4 Play is forecast to hold steady as they keep the series tied.
• Moving to lanes 21&22, 4th-place Nellielocks and the 3 Spares will challenge 5th-place The Incredibowls (hcp 12). Nellielocks might maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while The Incredibowls ought to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
• Then, over on lanes 23&24, 2nd-place All Belt, No Buckle will chill with 7th-place Big Pin Pin (hcp 71). The Belt will likely maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Pin Pin will probably raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
