The Fall 2006 season is now underway, with ten teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. Deena Slinkard landed this week's high game for the women with a 192, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 502. As for the men, David Codding earned this week's high game (222) and series (623). Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 11 & 12: New Balls, Old Rack spent some quality time with Guttersluts. Showcasing Ken M. Wilson with his 527 series, the Old Rack collected 3 wins against the Guttersluts. Simultaneously, Kris Hiestand called the shots for the Guttersluts with his 347 despite his team notching only a single win. New Balls, Old Rack gets underway in 4th place, while the Guttersluts get rolling in 9th.

On lanes 13 & 14: Hez-Bowl-lah did battle with All Belts Are Off. Even though highlighted by the skills of Nik Domann with his 473 series, Hez-Bowl-lah accomplished only 1 win against the Belt. Conversely, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head David Codding showed off in the Belt with his 623 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Hez-Bowl-lah leaves the gate in 6th place, while the Belt commences the season with 2nd.

On lanes 15 & 16: Frickin' Ten Pins accepted a challenge by TBD. Demonstrating the prowess of Carl Goetz with his 539 series, Frickin' Ten Pins celebrated a clean sweep over TBD. On the other side, David Parre dominated TBD with his 456 despite his team getting swept. Frickin' Ten Pins begins the season in 1st place, while TBD begins in 10th.

On lanes 17 & 18: Manute Bowl matched wits with Bowlkake2. Although blessed by Andy McLeod with his 435 series, Manute Bowl accomplished only 1 win against Bowlkake2. Meanwhile, Thomas Lin ruled Bowlkake2 with his 548 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Manute Bowl begins with 7th place, while Bowlkake2 gets going with 3rd.

Finally, down on lanes 19 & 20: I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter alternated splits with Split Happens. Regardless of the star power of Ryan Doll with his 475 series, Not Gutter accomplished only 1 win against Split Happens. Concurrently, Nick Allegri guided Split Happens with his 545 as his team took the series with 3 wins. I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter 8th place, while Split Happens 5th.

The Tournament of Champions begins in 3 weeks. Here are how the divisions are shaping up so far:
