Fall 2006 Week 2 Robo-RecapThe second week of Fall 2006 saw five teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. One bowler roll a new personal best game. Andrea DeLong landed this week's high game for the women with a 187, and women's high series was bagged by Deena Slinkard with a 451. As for the men, Pat Searcy earned this week's high game (245) and series (610). Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Manute Bowl chucked gutter balls with Hez-Bowl-lah. While headlined by Joel Henning with his 416 series, Manute Bowl got swept by Hez-Bowl-lah. On the flipside, Jason Carpio laid down the law in Hez-Bowl-lah with his above-average 508 as they swept the competition. Manute Bowl plummets 2 spots in the standings to 9th place, while Hez-Bowl-lah jumps 2 spots to 4th.

week2On lanes 17 & 18: New Balls, Old Rack deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of TBD. With top billing by Most Valuable Bowler Ken M. Wilson and his above-average 562 series, the Old Rack celebrated a clean sweep over TBD. In the meantime, David Parre called the shots for TBD with his 438 despite his team getting swept. New Balls, Old Rack leaps 3 spots in the standings to 1st place, while TBD remains in 10th.

On lanes 19 & 20: Guttersluts entered a showdown to the death with I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter. Though featuring Andrea DeLong with her thrilling 380 series, the Guttersluts accomplished only 1 win against Not Gutter. Concurrently, Ryan Doll shined in Not Gutter with his 492 (along with props to #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Ken M. Wilson) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Guttersluts leap 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Not Gutter moves 1 spot to 7th.

On lanes 21 & 22: Frickin' Ten Pins had a rendezvous with Split Happens. Notwithstanding the leadership of Freda Schroeder with her below-average 440 series, Frickin' Ten Pins got swept by Split Happens. On the other half of the score sheet, James Long ruled Split Happens with his above-average 428 as they swept the competition. Frickin' Ten Pins plummet 5 spots in the standings to 6th place, while Split Happens jump 3 spots to 2nd.

Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: Bowlkake2 couldn't stop inappropriately groping All Belts Are Off. Regardless of the star power of Thomas Lin with his 553 series, Bowlkake2 accomplished only 1 win against the Belt. Conversely, Pat Searcy drew the spotlight in the Belt with his staggering 610 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Bowlkake2 plummets 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while the Belt sinks 1 spot to 3rd.

Bowlers enjoying a guest admission to The 200 Club include: David Codding (225), Ken M. Wilson (203), Pat Searcy (245), Ryan Doll (234), and Tim Segraves (204)

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 15&16, 3rd-place All Belts Are Off will spend some quality time with 6th-place Frickin' Ten Pins (hcp 40). The Belt is expected to maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Frickin' Ten Pins are forecast to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
  • Moving to lanes 17&18, 7th-place I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter (hcp 132) will tussle with 5th-place Bowlkake2. Not Gutter might perform well, yet still manage to lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Bowlkake2 ought to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
  • Then, over on lanes 19&20, 2nd-place Split Happens (hcp 88) will meet with 1st-place New Balls, Old Rack. Split Happens will likely maintain their current strength as they get swept; while the Old Rack will probably hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
  • Next up, on lanes 21&22, 4th-place Hez-Bowl-lah will chuck some balls with 8th-place Guttersluts (hcp 134). Hez-Bowl-lah might perform well and sweep the series; while the Guttersluts ought to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
  • Finally, on lanes 23&24, 10th-place TBD will match wits with 9th-place Manute Bowl (estimated hcp 24). TBD is predicted to perform well and sweep the series; while Manute Bowl is anticipated to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
