The fourteenth week of Spring 2006 saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (169) and series (464) for the women, while Rich DeYoung earned this week's high game (247) and series (659) for the men. First up, on lanes 21 & 22: Split Happens celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with Bowl Movement. Despite the strength of Ryan Doll with his above-average 531 series, Split Happens accomplished only 1 win against Bowl Movement. As for the opposition, David Codding ruled Bowl Movement with his 601 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Split Happens drop 1 spot in the standings to 5th place, while Bowl Movement remains in 2nd.
On lanes 23 & 24: Guttersluts matched wits with Sweeter Than Yoohoo. Despite being led by Travis Kleiner with his 375 series, Guttersluts got swept by Yoohoo. On the flipside, Thomas Lin mastered Yoohoo with his above-average 582 as they swept the competition. Guttersluts drop 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while Yoohoo moves 1 spot to 4th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Bora Bora entered a showdown to the death with I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka!. Even though highlighted by the skills of John Richardson with his 494 series, Bora Bora accomplished only 1 win against the Belt. While that was going down, trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) Rich DeYoung drew the spotlight in the Belt with his exceptional 659 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Bora Bora remains in 3rd place, while the Belt remains in 1st.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Yo Mama had a delightful time with Tatonka. Reinforced by Andy Metzler with his 503 series, Yo Mama collected 3 wins against Tatonka. Concurrently, Andy McLeod guided Tatonka with his above-average 507 despite his team notching only a single win. Yo Mama leaps 1 spot in the standings to 6th place, while Tatonka remains in 8th.

New personal high games were set tonight by Scott Murdock (204, previous best 202) and Rich DeYoung (247, previous best 236). In addition, a new personal best series was rolled by Rich DeYoung (659, previous best 585).
In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Ken M. Wilson conquered Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Andy Metzler came closest). Scott Murdock walloped Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Tracy Rychlewski came closest). Finally, Ryan Doll (Division 4) trounced this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Ken M. Wilson holds the reins in Division 1; David Codding dominates Division 2; John Richardson governs Division 3; and Ryan Doll runs the show in Division 4.

- First, on lanes 21&22, 3rd-place Bora Bora will spend some quality time with 6th-place Yo Mama (hcp 76). Bora Bora is expected to maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Yo Mama is forecast to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
