The eleventh week of Spring 2006 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (170) and series (477) for the women, while Pat Searcy earned this week's high game (257) and series (696) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 21 & 22: Sweeter Than Yoohoo couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of Tatonka. Although blessed by Tim Segraves with his above-average 581 series, Yoohoo accomplished only 1 win against Tatonka. While that was going down, Andy McLeod laid down the law in Tatonka with his miraculous 541 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Will Jeter) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Sweeter Than Yoohoo remains in 5th place, while Tatonka remains in 7th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Yo Mama shared a platter of cheese sticks with Guttersluts. Notwithstanding the leadership of Andy Metzler with his below-average 468 series, Yo Mama accomplished only 1 win against Guttersluts. On the other half of the score sheet, Aaron Hoyt drew the spotlight in Guttersluts with his above-average 404 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Yo Mama remains in 6th place, while Guttersluts remain in 8th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Bowl Movement alternated splits with Bora Bora. With top billing by David Codding with his above-average 617 series, Bowl Movement collected 3 wins against Bora Bora. Simultaneously, Freda Schroeder showed off in Bora Bora with her above-average 477 despite her team notching only a single win. Bowl Movement remains in 2nd place, while Bora Bora moves 1 spot to 3rd.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! sparred with Split Happens. Led by #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Pat Searcy and his dazzling 696 series, the Belt celebrated a clean sweep over Split Happens. Concurrently, Ryan Doll guided Split Happens with his 495 despite his team getting swept. I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! remains in 1st place, while Split Happens sink 1 spot to 4th.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1, and in fact we aren't even going to talk about Division 1 as it was a complete embarassment, while Seth Gunderson walloped Division 2. Will Jeter triumphed over his enemies in Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Ben Lee came closest). And, finally, nobody claimed victory in the Interdivisional bracket, and in fact we aren't even going to talk about this bracket as it was a complete embarassment. In terms of overall points: Pat Searcy and Ken M. Wilson reign over Division 1 in a tie; David Codding and Dennis Laube call the shots in Division 2 in a tie; John Richardson tops Division 3; and Ryan Doll is in the driver's seat in Division 4.
NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 21&22, 2nd-place Bowl Movement will socialize with 1st-place I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! (hcp 60). Bowl Movement is expected to roll a little low and lose the series but avoid getting swept; while the Belt is forecast to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
- Moving to lanes 23&24, 3rd-place Bora Bora will hang out with 4th-place Split Happens (hcp 66). Bora Bora might maintain their current strength as they just barely miss sweeping the series; while Split Happens ought to hold steady as they just barely avoid getting swept.
- Then, over on lanes 25&26, 5th-place Sweeter Than Yoohoo will meet with 6th-place Yo Mama (hcp 116). Yoohoo will likely have a bit of an off night, yet still manage to sweep the series; while Yo Mama will probably drop their average a bit while they endure a rough night.
- Finally, on lanes 27&28, 7th-place Tatonka will throw some gutter balls with 8th-place Guttersluts (hcp 94). Tatonka is predicted to maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while Guttersluts are anticipated to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
