The third week of Fall 2007 saw three teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Freda Schroeder landed this week's high game for the women with a 170, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder and Jennifer Seefeldt, who tied with a 465. As for the men, Steve Kiernan earned this week's high game (236) and series (612).And the Tournament of Champions divisions are now set, ready for one-on-one action to begin next week! First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Cannonbelt Run celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with Sh!t, I Don't Know. With top billing by Chris Glaros with his 467 series, Cannonbelt collected 3 wins against I Don't Know. Simultaneously, Cory Chorpenning showed off in I Don't Know with his 567 despite his team notching only a single win. Cannonbelt Run drops 1 spot in the standings to 5th place, while I Don't Know plunges 2 spots to 7th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Your Mom had some one-on-one time with Split Happens. Regardless of the star power of Ryan Doll with his below-average 483 series, Your Mom got swept by Split Happens. In the meantime, Nick Allegri dominated Split Happens with his above-average 537 as they swept the competition. Your Mom drops 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Split Happens jump 2 spots to 6th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Dios Mios spent some quality time with Seefeldt the Glasscock. Though featuring Steve Kiernan with his above-average 612 series, with props to #1 Head-to-Head bowler , Dios Mios accomplished only 1 win against the Glasscock. On the other side, Ken M. Wilson reigned supreme in the Glasscock with his above-average 597 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Dios Mios drop 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while the Glasscock remains in 1st.
On lanes 25 & 26: Bad Newz Kennels kept grabbing the balls of Seriously Handicapped. Led by Carl Goetz with his above-average 600 series, the Kennels celebrated a clean sweep over the Handicapped. Concurrently, Tyler Hilker guided the Handicapped with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 476 despite his team getting swept. Bad Newz Kennels leap 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while the Handicapped remains in 9th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Ebowla took turns kicking the ball return with The GameCox. Even though highlighted by the skills of Tom Finley with his 345 series, Ebowla got swept by the GameCox. Meanwhile, #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Will Jeter laid down the law in the GameCox with his dramatic 539 as they swept the competition. Ebowla remains in 10th place, while the GameCox jumps 2 spots to 4th.
