The third week of Fall 2007 saw three teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Freda Schroeder landed this week's high game for the women with a 170, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder and Jennifer Seefeldt, who tied with a 465. As for the men, Steve Kiernan earned this week's high game (236) and series (612).And the Tournament of Champions divisions are now set, ready for one-on-one action to begin next week! First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Cannonbelt Run alternated between bowling and dry humping Sh!t, I Don't Know. Blessed by Chris Glaros with his 467 series, Cannonbelt collected 3 wins against I Don't Know. In the midst of this, Cory Chorpenning called the shots for I Don't Know with his 567 despite his team notching only a single win. Cannonbelt Run drops 1 spot in the standings to 5th place, while I Don't Know plunges 2 spots to 7th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Your Mom kept stealing sips of beer from Split Happens. Notwithstanding the leadership of Ryan Doll with his below-average 483 series, Your Mom got swept by Split Happens. Simultaneously, Nick Allegri commanded Split Happens with his above-average 537 as they swept the competition. Your Mom drops 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Split Happens jump 2 spots to 6th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Dios Mios spent a romantic evening with Seefeldt the Glasscock. In spite of the prowess of Steve Kiernan with his above-average 612 series, with props to #1 Head-to-Head bowler , Dios Mios accomplished only 1 win against the Glasscock. On the other side, Ken M. Wilson guided the Glasscock with his above-average 597 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Dios Mios drop 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while the Glasscock remains in 1st.
On lanes 25 & 26: Bad Newz Kennels shared a few beers with Seriously Handicapped. Headlined by Carl Goetz with his above-average 600 series, the Kennels celebrated a clean sweep over the Handicapped. On the adjacent lane, Tyler Hilker showed off in the Handicapped with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 476 despite his team getting swept. Bad Newz Kennels leap 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while the Handicapped remains in 9th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Ebowla chucked gutter balls with The GameCox. Although topped by Tom Finley with his 345 series, Ebowla got swept by the GameCox. Meanwhile, #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Will Jeter ruled the GameCox with his exceptional 539 as they swept the competition. Ebowla remains in 10th place, while the GameCox jumps 2 spots to 4th.
Bowlers who stripped naked and shared a cozy hottub together in a back room at The 200 Club include: Bill Krejci (218), Brian Eye (201), Carl Goetz (205,217), Cory Chorpenning (206), Ken M. Wilson (208), Nick Allegri (202), and Steve Kiernan (236,222)
A new personal high game was set tonight by Amanda Cox Jeter (165, previous best 163). In addition, a new personal best series was rolled by Will Jeter (539, previous best 534).
