The tweltfh week of Spring 2009 saw three teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (220) and series (533) for the women. As for the men, Jason Carpio snagged this week's high game with a 237, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 595. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Turkey Sandwich chucked gutter balls with No Pinheads. Regardless of the star power of Jason Carpio with his above-average 572 series, Turkey Sandwich got swept by No Pinheads. Across the ball return, Phil Schroeder took the lead in No Pinheads with his commanding 550 as they swept the competition. Turkey Sandwich drops 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while No Pinheads jump 2 spots to 3rd.

On lanes 21 & 22: Chicks With Balls matched wits with WWJB. Though featuring Janelle (Laube) Lamar with her 421 series, the Chicks accomplished only 1 win against WWJB. On the adjacent lane, Rich Foster ruled WWJB with his outstanding 445 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Chicks With Balls drop 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while WWJB moves 1 spot to 6th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Chico's Bail Bonds deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of Rule 6B. Headlined by #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz and his above-average 595 series, Chico's collected 3 wins against Rule 6B. Concurrently, Ryan Doll showed off in Rule 6B with his 506 despite his team notching only a single win. Chico's Bail Bonds remains in 2nd place, while Rule 6B sinks 1 spot to 4th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends spent some quality time with Sh!t, Another Season. Highlighting the skills of #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Ryan Housknecht and his amazing 489 series, Wonder Friends celebrated a clean sweep over Another Season. Countering this, Duncan Ferber oversaw Another Season with his 549 despite his team getting swept. Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends leap 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Another Season sinks 1 spot to 5th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: XXX had a delightful time with Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. Though reinforced by Rich DeYoung with his below-average 450 series, XXX got swept by Schlitz. On the other half of the score sheet, Angela Bradford dominated Schlitz with her above-average 533 as they swept the competition. XXX remains in 10th place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Carl Goetz made quick work of Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Angela Bradford came closest). Adam Messner decimated Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Rich Foster came closest). Finally, Phil Schroeder (Division 2) creamed this week's Interdivisional bracket.Finally, Ryan Housknecht (Division 4) creamed this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz governs Division 1; Phil Schroeder reigns over Division 2; Adam Messner runs the show in Division 3; and Deena Slinkard leads Division 4.

• Finally, on lanes 27&28, 5th-place Sh!t, Another Season (hcp 4) will throw some gutter balls with 2nd-place Chico's Bail Bonds. Another Season is predicted to maintain their current strength as they get swept; while Chico's are anticipated to raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
