The tweltfh week of Spring 2009 saw three teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (220) and series (533) for the women. As for the men, Jason Carpio snagged this week's high game with a 237, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 595. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Turkey Sandwich alternated splits with No Pinheads. Notwithstanding the leadership of Jason Carpio with his above-average 572 series, Turkey Sandwich got swept by No Pinheads. Countering this, Phil Schroeder oversaw No Pinheads with his exceptional 550 as they swept the competition. Turkey Sandwich drops 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while No Pinheads jump 2 spots to 3rd.

On lanes 21 & 22: Chicks With Balls faced off against WWJB. In spite of the prowess of Janelle (Laube) Lamar with her 421 series, the Chicks accomplished only 1 win against WWJB. Simultaneously, Rich Foster called the shots for WWJB with his dramatic 445 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Chicks With Balls drop 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while WWJB moves 1 spot to 6th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Chico's Bail Bonds hung out with Rule 6B. With the strength of #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz and his above-average 595 series, Chico's collected 3 wins against Rule 6B. In the meantime, Ryan Doll laid down the law in Rule 6B with his 506 despite his team notching only a single win. Chico's Bail Bonds remains in 2nd place, while Rule 6B sinks 1 spot to 4th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends chucked gutter balls with Sh!t, Another Season. Highlighting the skills of #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Ryan Housknecht and his astounding 489 series, Wonder Friends celebrated a clean sweep over Another Season. Concurrently, Duncan Ferber reigned supreme in Another Season with his 549 despite his team getting swept. Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends leap 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Another Season sinks 1 spot to 5th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: XXX alternated between bowling and dry humping Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. Though reinforced by Rich DeYoung with his below-average 450 series, XXX got swept by Schlitz. While that was going down, Angela Bradford took the lead in Schlitz with her above-average 533 as they swept the competition. XXX remains in 10th place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Carl Goetz decimated Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Angela Bradford came closest). Adam Messner conquered Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Rich Foster came closest). Finally, Phil Schroeder (Division 2) walloped this week's Interdivisional bracket.Finally, Ryan Housknecht (Division 4) walloped this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz calls the shots for Division 1; Phil Schroeder reigns over Division 2; Adam Messner leads Division 3; and Deena Slinkard tops Division 4.

• First, on lanes 19&20, 6th-place WWJB (hcp 16) will hang out with 8th-place Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. WWJB is expected to perform well, but split the series with Wonder Friends; while Wonder Friends are forecast to raise their average while they keep the series tied.
• Moving to lanes 21&22, 4th-place Rule 6B will face 9th-place Turkey Sandwich (hcp 42). Rule 6B might maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Turkey Sandwich ought to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
• Then, over on lanes 23&24, 1st-place Schlitz For Us, Splits For You will challenge 7th-place Chicks With Balls (hcp 87). Schlitz will likely maintain their current strength as they win the series; while the Chicks will probably raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.

• Finally, on lanes 27&28, 5th-place Sh!t, Another Season (hcp 4) will throw some gutter balls with 2nd-place Chico's Bail Bonds. Another Season is predicted to maintain their current strength as they get swept; while Chico's are anticipated to raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
