The fourteenth week of Spring 2009 saw one team climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (223) and series (595) for the women. As for the men, Jason Carpio snagged this week's high game with a 232, and high series was earned by David Codding with a 655. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Chico's Bail Bonds tussled with Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. With the strength of #1 Head-to-Head David Codding and his stunning 655 series, Chico's collected 3 wins against Schlitz. On the flipside, #1 Power-Ranked Angela Bradford guided Schlitz with her phenomenal 595 despite her team notching only a single win. Chico's Bail Bonds remains in 2nd place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.
On lanes 21 & 22: Sh!t, Another Season did battle with XXX. Led by Cory Chorpenning with his above-average 598 series, Another Season celebrated a clean sweep over XXX. Concurrently, Rich DeYoung drew the spotlight in XXX with his above-average 521 despite his team getting swept. Sh!t, Another Season remains in 5th place, while XXX remains in 10th.
On lanes 23 & 24: No Pinheads had some one-on-one time with Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. Featuring Dennis Laube with his 493 series, No Pinheads collected 3 wins against Wonder Friends. . With Wonder Friends forfeiting, all No Pinheads needed to do was roll within 40 pins of their combined team average each game. However, that would not be the case. No Pinheads remains in 4th place, while Wonder Friends sink 1 spot to 9th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Rule 6B spent a romantic evening with Chicks With Balls. Starring Adam Messner with his above-average 460 series, Rule 6B celebrated a clean sweep over the Chicks. On the adjacent lane, Janelle (Laube) Lamar reigned supreme in the Chicks with her above-average 457 despite her team getting swept. Rule 6B remains in 3rd place, while the Chicks sink 1 spot to 8th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Turkey Sandwich hung out with WWJB. Highlighting the skills of Jason Carpio with his above-average 607 series, Turkey Sandwich collected 3 wins against WWJB. Conversely, Most Valuable Bowler Rich Foster ruled WWJB with his stupendous 490 despite his team notching only a single win. Turkey Sandwich leaps 2 spots in the standings to 7th place, while WWJB remains in 6th.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though David Codding came closest), while Rob Kaszuba mopped up Division 2. Janelle (Laube) Lamar swept Division 3, and Rich Foster shut down Division 4. Finally, Cory Chorpenning (Division 1) creamed this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz is in the driver's seat in Division 1; Phil Schroeder runs the show in Division 2; Adam Messner tops Division 3; and Deena Slinkard holds the reins in Division 4.

- Finally, on lanes 27&28, 4th-place No Pinheads will chuck some balls with 8th-place Chicks With Balls (hcp 107). No Pinheads are predicted to maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while the Chicks are anticipated to raise their average even as they endure a rough night.
