The thirteenth week of Fall 2008 saw five teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. One bowler roll a new personal best game. Andrea Caudillo picked up this week's high game (170) and series (468) for the women, while Cory Chorpenning earned this week's high game (286) and series (641) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: WWJB kept stealing sips of beer from Dave and the Wingers. Though reinforced by Justin Wehrman with his above-average 451 series, WWJB got swept by the Wingers. Meanwhile, Rob Kaszuba oversaw the Wingers with his above-average 473 as they swept the competition. WWJB remains in 10th place, while the Wingers move 1 spot to 8th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Is This Billable? waged a heated competition against Dios Mios. Headlined by Ryan Doll with his below-average 510 series, Is This Billable? celebrated a clean sweep over Dios Mios. Countering this, Bill Krejci drew the spotlight in Dios Mios with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 441 despite his team getting swept. Is This Billable? leaps 2 spots in the standings to 3rd place, while Dios Mios sink 1 spot to 4th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Livin' On A Spare couldn't stop inappropriately groping Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty. Although topped by Tom Finley with his below-average 355 series, Livin' On A Spare got swept by Spare The Rod. On the adjacent lane, #1 Power-Ranked Jason Carpio laid down the law in Spare The Rod with his phenomenal 611 as they swept the competition. Livin' On A Spare drops 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while Spare The Rod moves 1 spot to 6th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Bad Newz Kennels had a rendezvous with Bowl Movement. Despite the strength of Dennis Laube with his below-average 450 series, the Kennels accomplished only 1 win against Bowl Movement. On the flipside, Travis Kleiner guided Bowl Movement with his staggering 521 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Bad Newz Kennels plummet 3 spots in the standings to 7th place, while Bowl Movement moves 1 spot to 5th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Ain't No Sh!t did battle with Chico's Bail Bonds. Despite being led by Cory Chorpenning with his 641 series, Ain't No Sh!t got swept by Chico's. While that was going down, Ken M. Wilson dominated Chico's with his 584 (along with a major contribution by #1 Head-to-Head and Most Valuable Bowler Chris Lewis, as well as #1 Power Ranked Jason Carpio) as they swept the competition. Ain't No Sh!t drops 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while Chico's move 1 spot to 1st.
Bowlers enjoying a guest admission to The 200 Club include: Aubrey Moren (207), Cory Chorpenning (286), Jason Carpio (253), Ken M. Wilson (221), and Travis Kleiner (208)

Adding to the excitement, the 286 rolled by Cory Chorpenning is this season's new high game for men.
The 286 rolled by Cory Chorpenning is the new 2nd-best game in league history!
In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though Ken M. Wilson came closest), while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Justin Wehrman came closest). Andrea Caudillo routed Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4, and in fact we aren't even going to talk about Division 4 as it was a complete embarassment. Finally, Chris Lewis (Division 2) walloped this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz dominates Division 1; Aubrey Moren tops Division 2; Carter Collins reigns over Division 3; and Lindsay Jamis calls the shots for Division 4.
NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 19&20, 1st-place Chico's Bail Bonds will face 9th-place Livin' On A Spare (hcp 137). Chico's are expected to perform well and sweep the series; while Livin' On A Spare is forecast to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
- Moving to lanes 21&22, 2nd-place Ain't No Sh!t will hang out with 5th-place Bowl Movement (hcp 189). Ain't No Sh!t might have their averages plummet as they get swept; while Bowl Movement ought to raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
- Then, over on lanes 23&24, 7th-place Bad Newz Kennels will chill with 8th-place Dave and the Wingers (hcp 108). The Kennels will likely maintain their current strength as they win the series; while the Wingers will probably raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
- Next up, on lanes 25&26, 3rd-place Is This Billable? will match wits with 6th-place Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty (hcp 24). Is This Billable? might maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Spare The Rod ought to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
- Finally, on lanes 27&28, 4th-place Dios Mios will battle 10th-place WWJB (hcp 80). Dios Mios are predicted to roll a little low, yet still manage to sweep the series; while WWJB is anticipated to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
