The fourth week of Spring 2006 saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Three bowlers set a new personal best series, and three rolled new personal high games. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (160) and series (440) for the women, while Thomas Lin earned this week's high game (267) and series (704) for the men. Meanwhile, the Tournament of Champions also kicked off tonight, beginning of 13 weeks of one-on-one bowling excitement! Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 21 & 22: Tatonka shared a few beers with Guttersluts. In spite of the prowess of Greg Franklin with his above-average 434 series, Tatonka accomplished only 1 win against Guttersluts. In the midst of this, Aaron Hoyt took the lead in Guttersluts with his stupendous 423 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Tatonka remains in 7th place, while Guttersluts remain in 8th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Sweeter Than Yoohoo entered a showdown to the death with Yo Mama. Starring #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Thomas Lin and his spectacular 704 series, Yoohoo celebrated a clean sweep over Yo Mama. In the meantime, Andy Metzler commanded Yo Mama with his above-average 565 despite his team getting swept. Sweeter Than Yoohoo leaps 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Yo Mama sinks 1 spot to 6th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Bowl Movement had a delightful time with I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka!. Even though highlighted by the skills of David Codding with his above-average 571 series, Bowl Movement accomplished only 1 win against the Belt. On the adjacent lane, Seth Gunderson mastered the Belt with his outstanding 611 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Bowl Movement remains in 2nd place, while the Belt remains in 1st.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Bora Bora faced off against Split Happens. While headlined by John Richardson with his above-average 497 series, Bora Bora got swept by Split Happens. Meanwhile, Most Valuable Bowler Ryan Doll dominated Split Happens with his staggering 558 as they swept the competition. Bora Bora plummets 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while Split Happens jump 2 spots to 4th.

New personal high games were set tonight by Thomas Lin (267, previous best 246), Aaron Hoyt (169, previous best 156), and Greg Franklin (169, previous best 167). In addition, new personal best series were rolled by Ray Haynes (463, previous best 423), Thomas Lin (704, previous best 668), and Seth Gunderson (611, previous best 557). Thomas Lin nabbed both high game and series for the men this season with his 267 and 704, respectively.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though Carl Goetz came closest), while Thomas Lin vanquished Division 2.
