Spring 2006 Week 4 Robo-RecapThe fourth week of Spring 2006 saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Three bowlers set a new personal best series, and three rolled new personal high games. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (160) and series (440) for the women, while Thomas Lin earned this week's high game (267) and series (704) for the men. Meanwhile, the Tournament of Champions also kicked off tonight, beginning of 13 weeks of one-on-one bowling excitement! Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 21 & 22: Tatonka had a delightful time with Guttersluts. Although blessed by Greg Franklin with his above-average 434 series, Tatonka accomplished only 1 win against Guttersluts. Countering this, Aaron Hoyt called the shots for Guttersluts with his wondrous 423 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Tatonka remains in 7th place, while Guttersluts remain in 8th.

week4On lanes 23 & 24: Sweeter Than Yoohoo couldn't stop inappropriately groping Yo Mama. Led by #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Thomas Lin and his powerful 704 series, Yoohoo celebrated a clean sweep over Yo Mama. On the other side, Andy Metzler showed off in Yo Mama with his above-average 565 despite his team getting swept. Sweeter Than Yoohoo leaps 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Yo Mama sinks 1 spot to 6th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Bowl Movement hung out with I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka!. Across the ball return, Seth Gunderson took the lead in the Belt with his commanding 611 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Bowl Movement remains in 2nd place, while the Belt remains in 1st.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Bora Bora deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of Split Happens. In spite of top-billing by John Richardson with his above-average 497 series, Bora Bora got swept by Split Happens. On the other half of the score sheet, Most Valuable Bowler Ryan Doll mastered Split Happens with his exceptional 558 as they swept the competition. Bora Bora plummets 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while Split Happens jump 2 spots to 4th.

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 21&22, 3rd-place Sweeter Than Yoohoo (hcp 99) will compete against 2nd-place Bowl Movement. Yoohoo is expected to roll a little low and get swept; while Bowl Movement is forecast to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
  • Moving to lanes 23&24, 4th-place Split Happens will roll against 8th-place Guttersluts (hcp 140). Split Happens might maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while Guttersluts ought to raise their average even as they endure a rough night.
  • Then, over on lanes 25&26, 7th-place Tatonka (hcp 77) will chuck some balls with 5th-place Bora Bora. Tatonka will likely maintain their current strength as they get swept; while Bora Bora will probably hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
  • Finally, on lanes 27&28, 1st-place I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! will throw some gutter balls with 6th-place Yo Mama (hcp 160). The Belt is predicted to maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while Yo Mama is anticipated to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
