The fourth week of Fall 2005 saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. Janelle (Laube) Lamar picked up this week's high game (132) and series (382) for the women, while David Codding earned this week's high game (245) and series (702) for the men. Meanwhile, the Tournament of Champions also kicked off tonight, beginning of 13 weeks of one-on-one bowling excitement! Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 21 & 22: Tatonka tussled with Derka, Derka. With the strength of Will Jeter with his above-average 534 series, Tatonka split the series with Derka, Derka. On the adjacent lane, Thomas Lin mastered Derka, Derka with his 535 as they matched their opponent in wins. Tatonka drops 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Derka, Derka remains in 1st.
On lanes 23 & 24: Munson'd chucked gutter balls with Three Men and a Babe. Notwithstanding the leadership of Gabe Wishnie with his 386 series, Munson'd got swept by Three Men and a Babe. Conversely, trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) David Codding drew the spotlight in Three Men and a Babe with his miraculous 702 as they swept the competition. Munson'd remains in 8th place, while Three Men and a Babe moves 1 spot to 5th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Same Belt, New Notch had a rendezvous with The Big LeBowlskies. Even though highlighted by the skills of Demond Robinson with his 539 series, the Belt accomplished only 1 win against The Big LeBowlskies. As for the opposition, Dennis Laube laid down the law in The Big LeBowlskies with his 537 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Same Belt, New Notch remains in 4th place, while The Big LeBowlskies move 1 spot to 2nd.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Harry Potter and the Magic Balls took turns kicking the ball return with Bora Bora!. In spite of top-billing by Andy Metzler with his 501 series, Harry Potter accomplished only 1 win against Bora Bora!. On the other half of the score sheet, John Richardson guided Bora Bora! with his phenomenal 445 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Harry Potter and the Magic Balls remains in 7th place, while Bora Bora! sinks 1 spot to 6th.

A new personal best series was rolled tonight by David Codding (702, previous best 648). Adding to the excitement, the 702 rolled by David Codding is this season's new high series for men.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Ken M. Wilson topped Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though David Parre came closest). Nobody claimed victory in Division 3 (though Janelle (Laube) Lamar came closest), and John Richardson rolled his ass to the top of Division 4. In terms of overall points: Ken M. Wilson dominates Division 1; David Parre holds the reins in Division 2; Janelle (Laube) Lamar reigns over Division 3; and John Richardson leads Division 4.

The Big LeBowlskies are predicted to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Three Men and a Babe is anticipated to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
