Spring 2004 Week 7 Robo-RecapThe seventh week of Spring 2004 saw two teams climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Four bowlers set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (243) and series (630) for the women, while Pat Searcy earned this week's high game (245) and series (656) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 15 & 16: The Bowling Stones tussled with 2 Tall Asians, 2 Short Whites. Starring Most Valuable Bowler Amanda Schulte and her spectacular 467 series, the Stones collected 3 wins against the White Asians. Conversely, Dennis Laube drew the spotlight in the White Asians with his 488 despite his team notching only a single win. The Bowling Stones remains in 5th place, while the White Asians remain in 1st.

week7On lanes 17 & 18: Joey's B*tches had a rendezvous with Got Carpio?. In spite of top-billing by David Codding with his above-average 578 series, the B*tches accomplished only 1 win against Got Carpio?. On the flipside, Eric Lynch shined in Got Carpio? with his above-average 565 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Joey's B*tches plummet 2 spots in the standings to 4th place, while Got Carpio? moves 1 spot to 3rd.

Finally, down on lanes 19 & 20: Recreation Intoxication sparred with T.R.O.T.B.. Blessed by #1 Power-Ranked Pat Searcy and his amazing 656 series, with props to #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Amanda Schulte, Recreation collected 3 wins against T.R.O.T.B.. Meanwhile, Scott Murdock dominated T.R.O.T.B. with his stupendous 531 despite his team notching only a single win. Recreation Intoxication leaps 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while T.R.O.T.B. remains in 6th.

New personal high games were set tonight by Jason Carpio (209, previous best 203) and Amanda Schulte (197, previous best 170). In addition, new personal best series were rolled by Scott Murdock (531, previous best 513), Phil Schroeder (526, previous best 519), Angela Bradford (630, previous best 595), and Amanda Schulte (467, previous best 428).

Angela Bradford earned both this season's women's high game and series with her 243 and 630, respectively.

The 243 rolled by Angela Bradford is the new 2nd-best women's game in league history! (As well as the league's 9th-best game overall.)
The 245 rolled by Pat Searcy is tied for the 7th-best game in league history!
Angela Bradford SET THE NEW ALL-TIME HIGH SERIES FOR WOMEN WITH HER 630! CONGRATULATIONS! (This is also the league's 12th-best series overall.)

NEXT WEEK:

Spring 2004 Week 6 Robo-RecapThe Spring 2004 position round is now history, and and the championship will be on us before we know it! The sixth week saw one team climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (208) and series (556) for the women, while Ken M. Wilson earned this week's high game (245) and series (693) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 15 & 16: 2 Tall Asians, 2 Short Whites traded lane malfunctions with Joey's B*tches. Although blessed by Dennis Laube with his 477 series, the White Asians got swept by the B*tches. On the other side, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Ken M. Wilson reigned supreme in the B*tches with his exceptional 693 as they swept the competition. 2 Tall Asians, 2 Short Whites remains in 1st place, while the B*tches remain in 2nd.

week6On lanes 17 & 18: Got Carpio? tussled with The Bowling Stones. Topped by Most Valuable Bowler Eric Lynch and his breathtaking 595 series, Got Carpio? collected 3 wins against the Stones. In the midst of this, Scott Musgrove laid down the law in the Stones with his marvelous 468 despite his team notching only a single win. Got Carpio? drops 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while the Stones sink 1 spot to 5th.

Finally, down on lanes 19 & 20: Recreation Intoxication matched wits with T.R.O.T.B.. Showcasing Bob Brunker with his thrilling 601 series, Recreation celebrated a clean sweep over T.R.O.T.B.. On the other half of the score sheet, Nik Domann drew the spotlight in T.R.O.T.B. with his 516 despite his team getting swept. Recreation Intoxication leaps 2 spots in the standings to 3rd place, while T.R.O.T.B. remains in 6th.

Spring 2004 Week 5 Robo-RecapBy now every team has bowled each other once, so next week is the Spring 2004 position round. But enough about next week, you came here to read about this week. The fifth week saw two teams climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (180) and series (507) for the women, while Carl Goetz earned this week's high game (266) and series (708) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Joey's B*tches did battle with The Bowling Stones. Demonstrating the prowess of #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz and his powerful 708 series, the B*tches split the series with the Stones. As for the opposition, Michael Basham laid down the law in the Stones with his dramatic 456 as they matched their opponent in wins. Joey's B*tches leap 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while the Stones remain in 4th.

Brian Byfield's cross-lanes incident tonight might not have been quite this cool, but it was still impressive.On lanes 17 & 18: 2 Tall Asians, 2 Short Whites accepted a challenge by Recreation Intoxication. With top billing by Dennis Laube with his 505 series, the White Asians celebrated a clean sweep over Recreation. Conversely, Angela Bradford guided Recreation with her 507 despite her team getting swept. 2 Tall Asians, 2 Short Whites remains in 1st place, while Recreation plunges 3 spots to 5th.

Finally, down on lanes 19 & 20: T.R.O.T.B. took turns kicking the ball return with Got Carpio?. Notwithstanding the leadership of Scott Murdock with his amazing 502 series, T.R.O.T.B. accomplished only 1 win against Got Carpio?. On the flipside, Eric Lynch reigned supreme in Got Carpio? with his terrific 560 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Jason Carpio) as his team took the series with 3 wins. T.R.O.T.B. remains in 6th place, while Got Carpio? jumps 2 spots to 3rd.

Carl Goetz nabbed both high game and series for the men this season with his 266 and 708, respectively.

Got Carpio? plummets 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while the White Asians remain in 1st.
