The Spring 2006 season draws to a close, with I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! officially earning this season's championship title! A stagnated final week resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (164) and series (453) for the women, while Pat Searcy earned this week's high game (241) and series (648) for the men. First up, on lanes 21 & 22: I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! had some one-on-one time with Bowl Movement. Highlighting the skills of #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Pat Searcy and his above-average 648 series, the Belt split the series with Bowl Movement. On the adjacent lane, David Codding shined in Bowl Movement with his 574 as they matched their opponent in wins. I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! finish in 1st place, while Bowl Movement end up with 2nd.
On lanes 23 & 24: Bora Bora kept grabbing the balls of Sweeter Than Yoohoo. With the strength of Dennis Laube with his above-average 555 series, Bora Bora split the series with Yoohoo. Concurrently, Thomas Lin mastered Yoohoo with his 565 as they matched their opponent in wins. Bora Bora end in 3rd place, while Yoohoo come out in 4th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Split Happens tussled with Guttersluts. Though reinforced by James Long with his below-average 471 series, Split Happens accomplished only 1 win against Guttersluts. On the other half of the score sheet, Dana Babler dominated Guttersluts with her staggering 411 as her team took the series with 3 wins. Split Happens end the season in 5th place, while Guttersluts go home with 6th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Yo Mama deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of Tatonka. Featuring Most Valuable Bowler Jason Caton and his breathtaking 510 series, Yo Mama celebrated a clean sweep over Tatonka. In the midst of this, Will Jeter drew the spotlight in Tatonka with his above-average 480 despite his team getting swept. Yo Mama close out in 7th place, while Tatonka wind up in 8th.
