The Spring 2006 season draws to a close, with I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! officially earning this season's championship title! A stagnated final week resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (164) and series (453) for the women, while Pat Searcy earned this week's high game (241) and series (648) for the men. First up, on lanes 21 & 22: I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! couldn't stop inappropriately groping Bowl Movement. Demonstrating the prowess of #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Pat Searcy and his above-average 648 series, the Belt split the series with Bowl Movement. Simultaneously, David Codding ruled Bowl Movement with his 574 as they matched their opponent in wins. I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! complete in 1st place, while Bowl Movement come out in 2nd.
On lanes 23 & 24: Bora Bora celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with Sweeter Than Yoohoo. Featuring Dennis Laube with his above-average 555 series, Bora Bora split the series with Yoohoo. On the adjacent lane, Thomas Lin shined in Yoohoo with his 565 as they matched their opponent in wins. Bora Bora end the season in 3rd place, while Yoohoo cross the finish line in 4th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Split Happens waged a heated competition against Guttersluts. Despite the strength of James Long with his below-average 471 series, Split Happens accomplished only 1 win against Guttersluts. While that was going down, Dana Babler dominated Guttersluts with her exceptional 411 as her team took the series with 3 wins. Split Happens finish in 5th place, while Guttersluts go home with 6th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Yo Mama kept stealing sips of beer from Tatonka. Blessed by Most Valuable Bowler Jason Caton and his astounding 510 series, Yo Mama celebrated a clean sweep over Tatonka. On the other half of the score sheet, Will Jeter took the lead in Tatonka with his above-average 480 despite his team getting swept. Yo Mama close out in 7th place, while Tatonka end up with 8th.

After a hard fought season, the Tournament of Champions was won tonight by Dennis Laube (Division 2),
with landing in second place. Dennis will pocket the nice first-place pot,
while will take away the second-place pot. Congratulations!
