The sixth week of Spring 2007 saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler roll a new personal best game. Sara Bryant landed this week's high game for the women with a 178, and women's high series was bagged by Angela Bradford with a 496. As for the men, John Coleman snagged this week's high game with a 225, and high series was earned by Pat Searcy with a 621. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Unstoppabowl accepted a challenge by Churn and Burn. Blessed by Cory Chorpenning with his 577 series, Unstoppabowl collected 3 wins against Churn and Burn. On the other half of the score sheet, James Cholke called the shots for Churn and Burn with his below-average 462 despite his team notching only a single win. Unstoppabowl remains in 1st place, while Churn and Burn remains in 7th.
On lanes 17 & 18: Those 4 Bowlers couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of Frickin' Ten Pin. Featuring Seth Gunderson with his above-average 544 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Shaun Crockett, 4 Bowlers collected 3 wins against Ten Pin. On the flipside, Carl Goetz oversaw Ten Pin with his 525 despite his team notching only a single win. Those 4 Bowlers leap 3 spots in the standings to 5th place, while Ten Pin sinks 1 spot to 6th.
On lanes 19 & 20: Guttersluts alternated between bowling and dry humping T.B.D.. With the strength of John Boren with his 525 series, Guttersluts celebrated a clean sweep over T.B.D.. As for the opposition, Steve Kiernan reigned supreme in T.B.D. with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 473 despite his team getting swept. Guttersluts remains in 3rd place, while T.B.D. plunges 3 spots to 9th.
On lanes 21 & 22: X9XX kept stealing sips of beer from King Pins. Showcasing Dennis Laube with his 494 series, X9XX collected 3 wins against King Pins. Conversely, John Coleman commanded King Pins with his above-average 595 despite his team notching only a single win. X9XX remains in 4th place, while King Pins remain in 10th.
Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: Oily Balls did battle with Doll's Balls. Topped by #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Pat Searcy and his above-average 621 series, Oily Balls split the series with Doll's Balls. On the adjacent lane, Ryan Doll guided Doll's Balls with his 489 as they matched their opponent in wins. Oily Balls remains in 2nd place, while Doll's Balls move 1 spot to 8th.
Bowlers who stripped naked and shared a cozy hottub together in a back room at The 200 Club include: Cory Chorpenning (207), Dave Hickerson (205), John Coleman (225,205), Pat Searcy (222,203), and Seth Gunderson (209)

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though Ken M. Wilson came closest), while Seth Gunderson creamed Division 2. Angela Bradford trounced Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Kendall Kukowski came closest). Finally, Pat Searcy (Division 1) triumphed over his enemies in this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Pat Searcy runs the show in Division 1; Bill Krejci and Seth Gunderson are both in the driver's seat (on each other's laps?) in Division 2 in a tie; Deena Slinkard and Angela Bradford hold the reins in Division 3 in a tie; and Kendall Kukowski governs Division 4.
NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 15&16, 4th-place X9XX will throw some gutter balls with 5th-place Those 4 Bowlers (hcp 26). X9XX is expected to roll a little low and get swept; while 4 Bowlers are forecast to raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
- Moving to lanes 17&18, 3rd-place Guttersluts will chill with 10th-place King Pins (hcp 83). Guttersluts might roll a little low, yet still manage to win the series; while King Pins ought to drop their average a bit while they avoid getting swept.
- Then, over on lanes 19&20, 2nd-place Oily Balls will test their mettle against 1st-place Unstoppabowl (hcp 50). Oily Balls will likely roll decently and win the series; while Unstoppabowl will probably hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
- Next up, on lanes 21&22, 6th-place Frickin' Ten Pin will roll against 8th-place Doll's Balls (hcp 46). Ten Pin might maintain their current strength as they and split the series with Doll's Balls; while Doll's Balls ought to hold steady as they keep the series tied.
- Finally, on lanes 23&24, 9th-place T.B.D. (hcp 32) will socialize with 7th-place Churn and Burn. T.B.D. is predicted to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Churn and Burn is anticipated to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
