Fall 2008 Week 10 Robo-RecapThe Fall 2008 position round is now history, and and the championship will be on us before we know it! The tenth week saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (192) and series (560) for the women, while Ryan Doll earned this week's high game (266) and series (660) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Ain't No Sh!t sparred with Chico's Bail Bonds. Although topped by Kendall Kukowski with his 574 series, Ain't No Sh!t got swept by Chico's. On the other half of the score sheet, Carl Goetz dominated Chico's with his above-average 569 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Jennifer Seefeldt) as they swept the competition. Ain't No Sh!t remains in 1st place, while Chico's remain in 2nd.

week10On lanes 21 & 22: Dios Mios had a delightful time with Bowl Movement. Demonstrating the prowess of Bill Krejci with his 517 series, with props to #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Jennifer Seefeldt, Dios Mios collected 3 wins against Bowl Movement. In the midst of this, Travis Kleiner commanded Bowl Movement with his above-average 486 despite his team notching only a single win. Dios Mios remains in 3rd place, while Bowl Movement plunges 2 spots to 6th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty tussled with Bad Newz Kennels. Despite being led by Will Jeter with his above-average 512 series, Spare The Rod got swept by the Kennels. Simultaneously, Freda Schroeder guided the Kennels with her dramatic 560 as they swept the competition. Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty plummets 2 spots in the standings to 7th place, while the Kennels jump 2 spots to 4th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Is This Billable? had a rendezvous with Livin' On A Spare. Featuring Ryan Doll with his powerful 660 series, Is This Billable? celebrated a clean sweep over Livin' On A Spare. Conversely, Tom Finley oversaw Livin' On A Spare with his above-average 414 despite his team getting swept. Is This Billable? leaps 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while Livin' On A Spare remains in 8th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Dave and the Wingers shared a few beers with WWJB. Starring Rob Kaszuba with his below-average 391 series, the Wingers collected 3 wins against WWJB. While that was going down, Justin Wehrman called the shots for WWJB with his below-average 374 despite his team notching only a single win. Dave and the Wingers remains in 9th place, while WWJB remains in 10th.

And, finally, nobody claimed victory in the Interdivisional bracket (though Aubrey Moren (Division ) came closest). In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz dominates Division 1; Aubrey Moren is in the driver's seat in Division 2; Travis Kleiner leads Division 3; and Lindsay Jamis calls the shots Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 19&20, 7th-place Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty (hcp 83) will hang out with 2nd-place Chico's Bail Bonds. Spare The Rod is expected to perform well, yet still manage to get swept; while Chico's are forecast to raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
  • Moving to lanes 21&22, 6th-place Bowl Movement will chuck some balls with 9th-place Dave and the Wingers (hcp 11). Bowl Movement might perform well and win the series; while the Wingers ought to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
  • Then, over on lanes 23&24, 1st-place Ain't No Sh!t will share a couple of pitchers with 4th-place Bad Newz Kennels (hcp 97). Ain't No Sh!t will likely perform weakly as they get swept; while the Kennels will probably raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
  • Next up, on lanes 25&26, 3rd-place Dios Mios will compete against 8th-place Livin' On A Spare (hcp 76). Dios Mios might perform well and sweep the series; while Livin' On A Spare ought to raise their average even as they endure a rough night.
  • Finally, on lanes 27&28, 10th-place WWJB (hcp 87) will test their mettle against 5th-place Is This Billable?. WWJB is predicted to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Is This Billable? is anticipated to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
