Fall 2009 Week 12 Robo-RecapThe tweltfh week of Fall 2009 saw three teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Janelle (Laube) Lamar landed this week's high game for the women with a 162, and women's high series was bagged by Sarah Sauer with a 445. As for the men, Ken M. Wilson earned this week's high game (247) and series (727). Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Chicks With Balls waged a heated competition against BILFs. With top billing by Janelle (Laube) Lamar with her 412 series, the Chicks collected 3 wins against BILFs. Across the ball return, Derrick Grimpo oversaw BILFs with his terrific 482 despite his team notching only a single win. Chicks With Balls remains in 9th place, while BILFs sink 1 spot to 6th.

Although topped by Nick Allegri with his above-average 438 series, Split Happens got swept by Quick Release. In the midst of this, Ryan Doll drew the spotlight in Quick Release with his 563 as they swept the competition. Split Happens remains in 10th place, while Quick Release moves 1 spot to 2nd.

On lanes 23 & 24: No Pinheads celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with Ebowla. Showcasing Phil Schroeder with his astounding 570 series, No Pinheads split the series with Ebowla. Meanwhile, Jason Carpio guided Ebowla with his phenomenal 618 as they matched their opponent in wins. No Pinheads drop 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Ebowla moves 1 spot to 7th.

On lanes 25 & 26: BOWLSH!T chucked gutter balls with Sweep The Leg, Johnny. Despite the strength of Travis Kleiner with his above-average 473 series, BOWLSH!T got swept by Sweep The Leg. Simultaneously, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Ken M. Wilson showed off in Sweep The Leg with his exceptional 727 as they swept the competition. BOWLSH!T drops 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Sweep The Leg remains in 1st.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Rollin' J's kept grabbing the balls of WWJB. Reinforced by Jerry Krall with his 384 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Jared Goff, Rollin' J's collected 3 wins against WWJB. On the adjacent lane, Rich Foster laid down the law in WWJB with his commanding 509 despite his team notching only a single win. Rollin' J's leap 2 spots in the standings to 4th place, while WWJB sinks 1 spot to 5th.

Bowlers sneaking into The 200 Club include: Aubrey Moren (224), Jason Carpio (216,203), John Boren (235,204), Ken M. Wilson (247,246,234), Phil Schroeder (202,209), and Ryan Doll (203)

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Ken M. Wilson swept Division 1, while Rich Foster rolled his ass to the top of Division 2. Janelle (Laube) Lamar clobbered Division 3, and Sarah Sauer had her way with Division 4. Finally, Jared Goff (Division 4) conquered this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Ken M. Wilson reigns over Division 1; Aubrey Moren leads Division 2; AJ Hofmann is in the driver's seat in Division 3; and Amanda Duncan dominates Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 19&20, 2nd-place Quick Release will share a couple of pitchers with 8th-place BOWLSH!T (hcp 95). Quick Release is expected to roll a little low, yet still manage to win the series; while BOWLSH!T is forecast to raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
  • Moving to lanes 21&22, 7th-place Ebowla will throw some gutter balls with 9th-place Chicks With Balls (hcp 50). Ebowla might perform well and sweep the series; while the Chicks ought to raise their average even as they endure a rough night.
  • Then, over on lanes 23&24, 5th-place WWJB (hcp 7) will spend some quality time with 10th-place Split Happens. WWJB will likely roll decently, but split the series with Split Happens; while Split Happens will probably raise their average while they keep the series tied.
  • Next up, on lanes 25&26, 6th-place BILFs will hang out with 4th-place Rollin' J's (hcp 28). BILFs might perform well and sweep the series; while Rollin' J's ought to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
  • Finally, on lanes 27&28, 1st-place Sweep The Leg, Johnny will compete against 3rd-place No Pinheads (hcp 67). Sweep The Leg is predicted to maintain their current strength as they just barely miss sweeping the series; while No Pinheads are anticipated to hold steady as they just barely avoid getting swept.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
