The tweltfh week of Spring 2009 saw three teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (220) and series (533) for the women. As for the men, Jason Carpio snagged this week's high game with a 237, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 595. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Turkey Sandwich celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with No Pinheads. Though reinforced by Jason Carpio with his above-average 572 series, Turkey Sandwich got swept by No Pinheads. In the midst of this, Phil Schroeder oversaw No Pinheads with his stupendous 550 as they swept the competition. Turkey Sandwich drops 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while No Pinheads jump 2 spots to 3rd.

On lanes 21 & 22: Chicks With Balls alternated splits with WWJB. While headlined by Janelle (Laube) Lamar with her 421 series, the Chicks accomplished only 1 win against WWJB. On the flipside, Rich Foster mastered WWJB with his staggering 445 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Chicks With Balls drop 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while WWJB moves 1 spot to 6th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Chico's Bail Bonds kept stealing sips of beer from Rule 6B. Featuring #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz and his above-average 595 series, Chico's collected 3 wins against Rule 6B. On the adjacent lane, Ryan Doll reigned supreme in Rule 6B with his 506 despite his team notching only a single win. Chico's Bail Bonds remains in 2nd place, while Rule 6B sinks 1 spot to 4th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends shared a platter of cheese sticks with Sh!t, Another Season. With the strength of #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Ryan Housknecht and his stunning 489 series, Wonder Friends celebrated a clean sweep over Another Season. While that was going down, Duncan Ferber took the lead in Another Season with his 549 despite his team getting swept. Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends leap 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Another Season sinks 1 spot to 5th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: XXX deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. In spite of top-billing by Rich DeYoung with his below-average 450 series, XXX got swept by Schlitz. As for the opposition, Angela Bradford guided Schlitz with her above-average 533 as they swept the competition. XXX remains in 10th place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Carl Goetz vanquished Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Angela Bradford came closest). Adam Messner eradicated Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Rich Foster came closest). Finally, Phil Schroeder (Division 2) routed this week's Interdivisional bracket.Finally, Ryan Housknecht (Division 4) routed this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz reigns over Division 1; Phil Schroeder is in the driver's seat in Division 2; Adam Messner calls the shots for Division 3; and Deena Slinkard tops Division 4.

• First, on lanes 19&20, 6th-place WWJB (hcp 16) will share a couple of pitchers with 8th-place Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. WWJB is expected to perform well, but split the series with Wonder Friends; while Wonder Friends are forecast to raise their average while they keep the series tied.

• Finally, on lanes 27&28, 5th-place Sh!t, Another Season (hcp 4) will chuck some balls with 2nd-place Chico's Bail Bonds. Another Season is predicted to maintain their current strength as they get swept; while Chico's are anticipated to raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
