The tweltfh week of Spring 2009 saw three teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (220) and series (533) for the women. As for the men, Jason Carpio snagged this week's high game with a 237, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 595. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Turkey Sandwich shared a platter of cheese sticks with No Pinheads. In spite of top-billing by Jason Carpio with his above-average 572 series, Turkey Sandwich got swept by No Pinheads. Conversely, Phil Schroeder mastered No Pinheads with his commanding 550 as they swept the competition. Turkey Sandwich drops 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while No Pinheads jump 2 spots to 3rd.

On lanes 21 & 22: Chicks With Balls did battle with WWJB. Despite the strength of Janelle (Laube) Lamar with her 421 series, the Chicks accomplished only 1 win against WWJB. Concurrently, Rich Foster guided WWJB with his terrific 445 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Chicks With Balls drop 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while WWJB moves 1 spot to 6th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Chico's Bail Bonds accepted a challenge by Rule 6B. Reinforced by #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz and his above-average 595 series, Chico's collected 3 wins against Rule 6B. Simultaneously, Ryan Doll took the lead in Rule 6B with his 506 despite his team notching only a single win. Chico's Bail Bonds remains in 2nd place, while Rule 6B sinks 1 spot to 4th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of Sh!t, Another Season. Led by #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Ryan Housknecht and his astounding 489 series, Wonder Friends celebrated a clean sweep over Another Season. In the meantime, Duncan Ferber called the shots for Another Season with his 549 despite his team getting swept. Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends leap 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Another Season sinks 1 spot to 5th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: XXX entered a showdown to the death with Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. Although blessed by Rich DeYoung with his below-average 450 series, XXX got swept by Schlitz. Countering this, Angela Bradford drew the spotlight in Schlitz with her above-average 533 as they swept the competition. XXX remains in 10th place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Carl Goetz mopped up Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Angela Bradford came closest). Adam Messner ruled Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Rich Foster came closest). Finally, Phil Schroeder (Division 2) topped this week's Interdivisional bracket.Finally, Ryan Housknecht (Division 4) topped this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz runs the show in Division 1; Phil Schroeder leads Division 2; Adam Messner tops Division 3; and Deena Slinkard dominates Division 4.
