The ninth week of Spring 2006 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (214) and series (502) for the women. As for the men, Carl Goetz snagged this week's high game with a 279, and high series was earned by John Richardson with a 643. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 21 & 22: I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! couldn't stop inappropriately groping Guttersluts. Led by Jason Carpio with his 557 series, the Belt celebrated a clean sweep over Guttersluts. As for the opposition, Travis Kleiner reigned supreme in Guttersluts with his 363 despite his team getting swept. I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! remains in 1st place, while Guttersluts remain in 8th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Sweeter Than Yoohoo celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with Bora Bora. NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 21&22, 6th-place Yo Mama (hcp 7) will compete against 3rd-place Split Happens. Yo Mama is expected to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Split Happens are forecast to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
- Moving to lanes 23&24, 2nd-place Bowl Movement will socialize with 7th-place Tatonka (hcp 220). Bowl Movement might roll a little low, yet still manage to win the series; while Tatonka ought to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
- Then, over on lanes 25&26, 1st-place I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! will chill with 5th-place Sweeter Than Yoohoo (hcp 26). The Belt will likely have a bit of an off night, yet still manage to win the series; while Yoohoo will probably drop their average a bit while they avoid getting swept.
- Finally, on lanes 27&28, 8th-place Guttersluts (hcp 188) will chuck some balls with 4th-place Bora Bora. Guttersluts are predicted to maintain their current strength as they get swept; while Bora Bora is anticipated to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
