The Fall 2005 season draws to a close, with Same Belt, New Notch officially earning this season's championship title! A stagnated final week resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings. One bowler set a new personal best series. Janelle (Laube) Lamar landed this week's high game for the women with a 169, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 436. As for the men, Carl Goetz earned this week's high game (235) and series (668). Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 21 & 22: Same Belt, New Notch chucked gutter balls with Bora Bora!. Blessed by trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) Carl Goetz and his breathtaking 668 series, the Belt collected 3 wins against Bora Bora!. On the other half of the score sheet, John Richardson drew the spotlight in Bora Bora! with his outstanding 531 despite his team notching only a single win. Same Belt, New Notch end the season in 1st place, while Bora Bora! end up with 2nd.

On lanes 23 & 24: Tatonka faced off against Three Men and a Babe. Though featuring Will Jeter with his above-average 501 series, Tatonka accomplished only 1 win against Three Men and a Babe. On the flipside, David Codding mastered Three Men and a Babe with his 575 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Tatonka complete in 3rd place, while Three Men and a Babe go home with 4th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Derka, Derka traded lane malfunctions with The Big LeBowlskies. Demonstrating the prowess of Thomas Lin with his stunning 617 series, Derka, Derka collected 3 wins against The Big LeBowlskies. As for the opposition, Michael Basham ruled The Big LeBowlskies with his miraculous 584 despite his team notching only a single win. Derka, Derka close out in 5th place, while The Big LeBowlskies wind up in 6th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Harry Potter and the Magic Balls spent a romantic evening with Munson'd. With Harry Potter forfeiting, all Munson'd needed to do was roll within 40 pins of their combined team average each game. However, that would not be the case. . But Munson'd also forfeited, making this entire matchup a waste of time to have written about. Harry Potter and the Magic Balls end in 7th place, while Munson'd cross the finish line in 8th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Tatonka took turns kicking the ball return with The Big LeBowlskies. Showcasing Will Jeter with his above-average 490 series, Tatonka collected 3 wins against The Big LeBowlskies. While that was going down, Michael Basham guided The Big LeBowlskies with his 492 despite his team notching only a single win. Tatonka drops 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while The Big LeBowlskies remain in 6th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Derka, Derka alternated splits with Same Belt, New Notch. Regardless of the star power of Rich DeYoung with his 529 series, Derka, Derka accomplished only 1 win against the Belt. As for the opposition, Demond Robinson reigned supreme in the Belt with his miraculous 614 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Scott Murdock) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Derka, Derka drops 1 spot in the standings to 5th place, while the Belt remains in 1st.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Bora Bora! kept stealing sips of beer from Munson'd. With the strength of #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head John Richardson and his awe-inspiring 630 series, Bora Bora! celebrated a clean sweep over Munson'd. Across the ball return, Thomas Fowler drew the spotlight in Munson'd with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 218 despite his team getting swept. Bora Bora! leaps 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while Munson'd remains in 8th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Derka, Derka kept stealing sips of beer from Munson'd. Reinforced by Thomas Lin with his powerful 615 series, Derka, Derka celebrated a clean sweep over Munson'd. Countering this, Ryan Doll called the shots for Munson'd with his 475 despite his team getting swept. Derka, Derka remains in 4th place, while Munson'd remains in 8th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Harry Potter and the Magic Balls entered a showdown to the death with The Big LeBowlskies. Although topped by Andy Metzler with his 465 series, Harry Potter missed getting swept by The Big LeBowlskies by just one pin. In the meantime, Michael Basham reigned supreme in The Big LeBowlskies with his marvelous 561 as his team took the series with 3.5 wins. Harry Potter and the Magic Balls remains in 7th place, while The Big LeBowlskies remain in 6th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Three Men and a Babe tussled with Tatonka. Led by David Codding with his 583 series, Three Men and a Babe collected 3 wins against Tatonka. Concurrently, Joel Henning laid down the law in Tatonka with his stupendous 489 despite his team notching only a single win. Three Men and a Babe remains in 5th place, while Tatonka sinks 1 spot to 2nd.
