The Fall 2005 season draws to a close, with Same Belt, New Notch officially earning this season's championship title! A stagnated final week resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings. One bowler set a new personal best series. Janelle (Laube) Lamar landed this week's high game for the women with a 169, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 436. As for the men, Carl Goetz earned this week's high game (235) and series (668). Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 21 & 22: Same Belt, New Notch entered a showdown to the death with Bora Bora!. Featuring trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) Carl Goetz and his dazzling 668 series, the Belt collected 3 wins against Bora Bora!. Countering this, John Richardson oversaw Bora Bora! with his fantastic 531 despite his team notching only a single win. Same Belt, New Notch end in 1st place, while Bora Bora! come out in 2nd.

On lanes 23 & 24: Tatonka kept grabbing the balls of Three Men and a Babe. Despite being led by Will Jeter with his above-average 501 series, Tatonka accomplished only 1 win against Three Men and a Babe. On the flipside, David Codding guided Three Men and a Babe with his 575 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Tatonka end the season in 3rd place, while Three Men and a Babe wind up in 4th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Derka, Derka spent a romantic evening with The Big LeBowlskies. Blessed by Thomas Lin with his splendid 617 series, Derka, Derka collected 3 wins against The Big LeBowlskies. On the other half of the score sheet, Michael Basham took the lead in The Big LeBowlskies with his staggering 584 despite his team notching only a single win. Derka, Derka finish in 5th place, while The Big LeBowlskies cros the finish line in 6th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Harry Potter and the Magic Balls hung out with Munson'd. With Harry Potter forfeiting, all Munson'd needed to do was roll within 40 pins of their combined team average each game. However, that would not be the case. . But Munson'd also forfeited, making this entire matchup a waste of time to have written about. Harry Potter and the Magic Balls complete in 7th place, while Munson'd go home with 8th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Derka, Derka accepted a challenge by Same Belt, New Notch. Though featuring Rich DeYoung with his 529 series, Derka, Derka accomplished only 1 win against the Belt. On the adjacent lane, Demond Robinson guided the Belt with his marvelous 614 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Scott Murdock) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Bora Bora! couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of Munson'd. Blessed by #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head John Richardson and his spectacular 630 series, Bora Bora! celebrated a clean sweep over Munson'd. Across the ball return, Thomas Fowler shined in Munson'd with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 218 despite his team getting swept. Bora Bora! leaps 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while Munson'd remains in 8th.
