Fall 2005 Week 8 Robo-RecapThe Fall 2005 position round is now history, and and the championship will be on us before we know it! The eighth week saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (180) and series (484) for the women. As for the men, David Parre snagged this week's high game with a 248, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 573. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 21 & 22: Tatonka matched wits with Derka, Derka. Featuring Will Jeter with his below-average 446 series, Tatonka collected 3 wins against Derka, Derka. Countering this, Thomas Lin drew the spotlight in Derka, Derka with his 498 despite his team notching only a single win. Tatonka remains in 1st place, while Derka, Derka sinks 1 spot to 3rd.

Topped by Freda Schroeder with her above-average 484 series, with props to #1 Head-to-Head bowler , Bora Bora! split the series with Three Men and a Babe. Concurrently, #1 Power-Ranked David Parre mastered Three Men and a Babe with his miraculous 570 as they matched their opponent in wins. Bora Bora! leaps 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while Three Men and a Babe remains in 6th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Harry Potter and the Magic Balls couldn't stop inappropriately groping Munson'd. Blessed by Joel Henning with his above-average 372 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Kathryn Holt, Harry Potter split the series with Munson'd. In the midst of this, Mark Belles dominated Munson'd with his 377 as they matched their opponent in wins. Harry Potter and the Magic Balls remains in 7th place, while Munson'd remains in 8th.

Fall 2005 Week 7 Robo-RecapBy now every team has bowled each other once, so next week is the Fall 2005 position round. But enough about next week, you came here to read about this week. The seventh week saw two teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. First up, on lanes 21 & 22: Bora Bora! waged a heated competition against Munson'd. With top billing by John Richardson with his 396 series, Bora Bora! collected 3 wins against Munson'd. . With Munson'd forfeiting, all Bora Bora! needed to do was roll within 40 pins of their combined team average each game. However, that would not be the case. Bora Bora! leaps 1 spot in the standings to 5th place, while Munson'd remains in 8th.

week7On lanes 23 & 24: Derka, Derka spent a romantic evening with Same Belt, New Notch. Featuring Thomas Lin with his 511 series, Derka, Derka collected 3 wins against the Belt. Derka, Derka leaps 2 spots in the standings to 2nd place, while the Belt sinks 1 spot to 3rd.

In terms of overall points: Ken M. Wilson holds the reins in Division 1; David Parre governs Division 2; Phil Schroeder leads Division 3; and Andrea DeLong runs the show in Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:
