The fourteenth week of Fall 2002 saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. Janelle (Laube) Lamar picked up this week's high game (163) and series (446) for the women, while Carl Goetz earned this week's high game (206) and series (611) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 17 & 18: Top Guns alternated between bowling and dry humping GRRR. Blessed by Pat Searcy with his 544 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Phil Schroeder, Top Guns collected 3 wins against GRRR. As for the opposition, Sharon Turner dominated GRRR with her 419 despite her team notching only a single win. Top Guns leap 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while GRRR remains in 6th.
On lanes 19 & 20: Team 5 celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with Pop Gunns. Though reinforced by David Codding with his dazzling 527 series, Team 5 accomplished only 1 win against Pop Gunns. On the other half of the score sheet, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz called the shots for Pop Gunns with his dramatic 611 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Team 5 drops 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Pop Gunns remain in 1st.
Finally, down on lanes 21 & 22: Team 6 took turns kicking the ball return with UnaBowlers. Though featuring Janelle (Laube) Lamar with her awe-inspiring 446 series, Team 6 accomplished only 1 win against the UnaBowlers. In the midst of this, Justin Strelow laid down the law in the UnaBowlers with his above-average 494 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Team 6 remains in 4th place, while the UnaBowlers remain in 5th.

NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 17&18, 1st-place Pop Gunns will battle 4th-place Team 6. Pop Gunns are expected to see a pretty significant "market correction" to their averages, but split the series with Team 6; while Team 6 is forecast to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
- Moving to lanes 19&20, 5th-place UnaBowlers will throw some gutter balls with 6th-place GRRR. The UnaBowlers might watch their averages take a plunge, but split the series with GRRR; while GRRR ought to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
- Finally, on lanes 21&22, 3rd-place Team 5 will face 2nd-place Top Guns. Team 5 is predicted to perform weakly, but split the series with Top Guns; while Top Guns are anticipated to see their team average take a dive while they keep the series tied.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
