The eleventh week of Spring 2003 saw one team climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Three bowlers set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Marca Robinson picked up this week's high game (140) and series (383) for the women. As for the men, Carl Goetz snagged this week's high game with a 217, and high series was earned by Jarrod Guthrie with a 604. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 17 & 18: Hulk Smash! shared a platter of cheese sticks with When Push Comes To Shove. Although blessed by Carl Goetz with his 567 series, the Hulk accomplished only 1 win against the Shovers. As for the opposition, David Parre ruled the Shovers with his 519 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Hulk Smash! drops 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while the Shovers remain in 3rd.
On lanes 19 & 20: Top Guns deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of The Good Sons. Though reinforced by Pat Searcy with his 566 series, Top Guns accomplished only 1 win against the Sons. Meanwhile, Steve Robinson oversaw the Sons with his stupendous 492 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Top Guns remains in 4th place, while the Sons remain in 5th.
On lanes 21 & 22: D-Day waged a heated competition against Bowlers of Mass Destruction. Demonstrating the prowess of Most Valuable Bowler Scott Murdock and his breathtaking 513 series, D-Day split the series with Mass Destruction. On the adjacent lane, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Jarrod Guthrie drew the spotlight in Mass Destruction with his commanding 604 as they matched their opponent in wins. D-Day remains in 1st place, while Mass Destruction remains in 2nd.
Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: Spanked kept stealing sips of beer from Canned Crabs. Showcasing Jim Jones with his stunning 530 series, Spanked collected 3 wins against the Crabs. Across the ball return, Eric Lynch showed off in the Crabs with his below-average 451 despite his team notching only a single win. Spanked leaps 2 spots in the standings to 6th place, while the Crabs sink 1 spot to 8th.

A new personal high game was set tonight by Jim Jones (213, previous best 186). In addition, new personal best series were rolled by Scott Murdock (513, previous best 479), Jim Jones (530, previous best 501), and Jarrod Guthrie (604, previous best 527). The 604 rolled by Jarrod Guthrie is the new 6th-best series in league history!
In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though Pat Searcy came closest), while Jim Jones swept Division 2. Steve Robinson decimated Division 3, and Scott Murdock won Division 4. In terms of overall points: Pat Searcy reigns over Division 1; Ken M. Wilson runs the show in Division 2; Steve Robinson leads Division 3; and Marca Robinson holds the reins in Division 4.

- First, on lanes 17&18, 1st-place D-Day (hcp 5) will meet with 6th-place Spanked. D-Day is expected to perform well and win the series; while Spanked is forecast to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.

- Finally, on lanes 23&24, 3rd-place When Push Comes To Shove will face 5th-place The Good Sons (hcp 124). The Shovers are predicted to maintain their current strength as they and split the series with the Sons; while the Sons are anticipated to raise their average while they keep the series tied.
