The Fall 2003 season draws to a close, with Anchors Aweigh! officially earning this season's championship title! The final week saw one team climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (181) and series (543) for the women, while Pat Searcy earned this week's high game (246) and series (621) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Anchors Aweigh! deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of Bowlers of Mass Confusion. Showcasing David Codding with his 558 series, the Anchors collected 3 wins against Mass Confusion. Wolverines leap 2 spots in the standings to end in 3rd place, while Ishmael sinks 1 spot to come out in 4th.
On lanes 19 & 20: Theee Beeelt matched wits with Gutter Minds. Regardless of the star power of Aaron Weidner with his above-average 547 series, Theee Beeelt got swept by Gutter Minds.
