Fall 2007 Week 14 Robo-RecapThe fourteenth week of Fall 2007 saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. Jennifer Seefeldt picked up this week's high game (183) and series (498) for the women. As for the men, Jason Carpio snagged this week's high game with a 223, and high series was earned by Ryan Doll with a 595. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 17 & 18: Bad Newz Kennels did battle with Sh!t, I Don't Know. Despite the strength of Dennis Laube with his astonishing 546 series, the Kennels accomplished only 1 win against I Don't Know. In the meantime, Cory Chorpenning took the lead in I Don't Know with his 593 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Bad Newz Kennels drop 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while I Don't Know moves 1 spot to 1st.

An irritated Kody waits for Russell to bowl.On lanes 19 & 20: Seriously Handicapped couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of Dios Mios. Led by Tyler Hilker with his 505 series, the Handicapped collected 3 wins against Dios Mios. Conversely, #1 Power-Ranked Dave Winger mastered Dios Mios with his commanding 488 despite his team notching only a single win. Seriously Handicapped remains in 10th place, while Dios Mios remain in 3rd.

On lanes 21 & 22: Seefeldt the Glasscock tussled with Your Mom. In spite of the prowess of Ken M. Wilson with his 524 series, the Glasscock accomplished only 1 win against Your Mom. Countering this, #1 Head-to-Head Ryan Doll commanded Your Mom with his above-average 595 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Seefeldt the Glasscock remains in 4th place, while Your Mom moves 1 spot to 8th.

On lanes 23 & 24: The GameCox shared a platter of cheese sticks with Cannonbelt Run. With top billing by Jason Carpio with his thrilling 588 series, the GameCox split the series with Cannonbelt. While that was going down, Nik Domann reigned supreme in Cannonbelt with his 488 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Shaun Crockett) as they matched their opponent in wins. The GameCox drops 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while Cannonbelt remains in 5th.

Finally, down on lanes 25 & 26: Ebowla couldn't stop inappropriately groping Split Happens. Though featuring Travis Kleiner with his 410 series, Ebowla accomplished only 1 win against Split Happens. Across the ball return, Nick Allegri dominated Split Happens with his below-average 424 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Ebowla remains in 7th place, while Split Happens remain in 6th.

Bowlers lounging at The 200 Club include: Cory Chorpenning (208), Dennis Laube (209), Duncan Ferber (204), Jason Carpio (200,223), Nik Domann (200), Ryan Doll (201,201), and Tyler Hilker (216)

A new personal best series was rolled tonight by Shaun Crockett (456, previous best 452).

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Nobody claimed victory in Division 1 (though Cory Chorpenning came closest), while Ryan Doll made quick work of Division 2. Jennifer Seefeldt claimed victory in Division 3, and John Kroenke spanked Division 4. And, finally, nobody claimed victory in the Interdivisional bracket (though Tyler Hilker (Division ) came closest). In terms of overall points: Duncan Ferber tops Division 1; Nik Domann reigns over Division 2; David Parre is in the driver's seat in Division 3; and Travis Kleiner calls the shots for Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 19&20, 10th-place Seriously Handicapped will challenge 7th-place Ebowla (hcp 17). The Handicapped is expected to perform well and win the series; while Ebowla is forecast to raise their average even as they avoid getting swept.
  • Moving to lanes 21&22, 8th-place Your Mom (hcp 136) will compete against 1st-place Sh!t, I Don't Know. Your Mom might perform well and win the series; while I Don't Know ought to drop their average a bit while they avoid getting swept.
  • Then, over on lanes 23&24, 9th-place The GameCox (hcp 32) will meet with 3rd-place Dios Mios. The GameCox will likely maintain their current strength as they and split the series with Dios Mios; while Dios Mios will probably hold steady as they keep the series tied.
  • Next up, on lanes 25&26, 2nd-place Bad Newz Kennels will socialize with 6th-place Split Happens (hcp 120). The Kennels might perform well and sweep the series; while Split Happens ought to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
  • Finally, on lanes 27&28, 4th-place Seefeldt the Glasscock will face 5th-place Cannonbelt Run (hcp 275). The Glasscock is predicted to roll a little low, yet still manage to win the series; while Cannonbelt is anticipated to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
