The fourth week of Fall 2008 saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (185) and series (496) for the women, while Cory Chorpenning earned this week's high game (243) and series (581) for the men. Meanwhile, the Tournament of Champions also kicked off tonight, beginning of 13 weeks of one-on-one bowling excitement! Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Dave and the Wingers kept grabbing the balls of Bad Newz Kennels. Notwithstanding the leadership of Rob Kaszuba with his 417 series, the Wingers accomplished only 1 win against the Kennels. On the flipside, Freda Schroeder shined in the Kennels with her above-average 496 as her team took the series with 3 wins. Dave and the Wingers remains in 8th place, while the Kennels jump 2 spots to 4th.

On lanes 21 & 22: Livin' On A Spare had a rendezvous with Chico's Bail Bonds. Despite being led by Tom Finley with his above-average 398 series, Livin' On A Spare accomplished only 1 win against Chico's. On the other side, Carl Goetz ruled Chico's with his exceptional 566 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Livin' On A Spare remains in 9th place, while Chico's move 1 spot to 2nd.

On lanes 23 & 24: Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty alternated between bowling and dry humping Is This Billable?. Even though highlighted by the skills of Andrea Caudillo with her below-average 369 series, Spare The Rod got swept by Is This Billable?. Countering this, trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) Adam Messner showed off in Is This Billable? with his miraculous 488 as they swept the competition. Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty plummets 3 spots in the standings to 10th place, while Is This Billable? jumps 4 spots to 6th.

On lanes 25 & 26: WWJB accepted a challenge by Dios Mios. In spite of top-billing by AJ Taylor with his above-average 395 series, WWJB got swept by Dios Mios. Meanwhile, Bill Krejci oversaw Dios Mios with his 522 as they swept the competition. WWJB plummets 3 spots in the standings to 7th place, while Dios Mios remain in 1st.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Bowl Movement faced off against Ain't No Sh!t. Starring Travis Kleiner with his splendid 493 series, Bowl Movement split the series with Ain't No Sh!t. Simultaneously, Cory Chorpenning guided Ain't No Sh!t with his 581 as they matched their opponent in wins. Bowl Movement remains in 5th place, while Ain't No Sh!t sinks 1 spot to 3rd.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Carl Goetz claimed victory in Division 1, while David Parre topped Division 2. Carter Collins made quick work of Division 3, and Adam Messner decimated Division 4. And, finally, nobody claimed victory in the Interdivisional bracket, and in fact we aren't even going to talk about this bracket as it was a complete embarassment. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz dominates Division 1; David Parre runs the show in Division 2; Carter Collins leads Division 3; and Adam Messner is in the driver's seat in Division 4.

• First, on lanes 19&20, 5th-place Bowl Movement (hcp 59) will battle 6th-place Is This Billable?. Bowl Movement is expected to perform well, but split the series with Is This Billable?; while Is This Billable? is forecast to hold steady as they keep the series tied.

• Finally, on lanes 27&28, 9th-place Livin' On A Spare (hcp 17) will share a couple of pitchers with 8th-place Dave and the Wingers.
