Week 10 RoboHeaderA stagnated tenth week of Spring 2026 resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings. One bowler roll a new personal best game. JoAnne Barber picked up this week's high game (147) and series (422) for the women, while Ian Estey earned this week's high game (233) and series (586) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 1 & 2: With a battle so mismatched that the outcome could trigger the apocalypse, the foul scoundrels of Squid Row couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of the dark horse Walk Offs. Strengthened by Ben Spencer with his above-average 558 series, with props to #1 Head-to-Head bowler Dennis Walling, Squids collected 3 wins against Walkers. As this was happening, Kurt Fredrickson with his better-than-normal 391 series showed off for Walkers despite his team notching only a single win. Squid Row remains in 2nd place, while Walkers remain in 5th.

week10On lanes 3 & 4: In a matchup that could almost be considered unfair, the big bullies of Hot-n-Ready® hoped to be able to outperform the inspirational 3 Pins and a Gutter. Demonstrating the prowess of Ian Estey with his above-average 586 series, with a nod to #1 Power-Ranked Buck Nasty, The Ready® collected 3 wins against Gutterly Pinned. Among the other players in the match, Nathan Burrows with his 428 series oversaw Gutterly Pinned (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler JoAnne Barber) despite his team notching only a single win. Hot-n-Ready® remains in 1st place, while Gutterly Pinned remains in 6th.

Finally, down on lanes 5 & 6: In a pairing of teams of similar strength, The Queenpins faced off against Thots & Spares. Notwithstanding the leadership of Jon Little with his 522 series, Queenpins accomplished only 1 win against Thots. Meanwhile, AJ Hofmann with his 522 series commanded Thots as his team took the match with 3 wins. The Queenpins remains in 4th place, while Thots remain in 3rd.

Bowlers rolling into The 200 Club include: AJ Hofmann (214), Ben Spencer (204,204), Chris Windham (212), Dennis Walling (201), Ian Estey (233), Jon Little (212), Matthew Taylor (200), Nick Kinney (213), and Seth Gunderson (215)

A new personal high game was set tonight by Mike Fitzgerald (173, previous best 164).

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Ian Estey swept Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Ben Spencer came closest). Tim Deddens vanquished Division 3, and Jeremy Varnell topped Division 4. In terms of overall points: Ian Estey calls the shots for Division 1; Scott Murdock reigns over Division 2; Tim Deddens holds the reins in Division 3; and Jeremy Varnell is in the driver's seat in Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:

  • First, on lanes 1&2, 4th-place The Queenpins (hcp 86) will battle 1st-place Hot-n-Ready®. Queenpins are expected to roll a little low and get swept; while The Ready® is forecast to raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
  • Moving to lanes 3&4, 3rd-place Thots & Spares will test their mettle against 5th-place Walk Offs (hcp 95). Thots might maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while Walkers ought to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
  • Finally, on lanes 5&6, 2nd-place Squid Row will socialize with 6th-place 3 Pins and a Gutter (hcp 166). Squids are predicted to roll decently and sweep the series; while Gutterly Pinned is anticipated to hold steady as they endure a rough night.

*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
