The Fall 2025 season is now underway, with six teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. Two bowlers set a new personal best series. JoAnne Barber picked up this week's high game (134) and series (359) for the women. As for the men, Buck Nasty snagged this week's high game with a 201, and high series was earned by Matthew Taylor with a 577. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 1 & 2: Gutterly Hopeless had some one-on-one time with Trump's Tariff Turkeys. Emboldened by Jeremy Varnell with his 411 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler No one, Hopeless split the series with Tariff Turkeys. On the other lane, Scott Murdock with his 478 series propped up Tariff Turkeys as they matched their opponent in wins. Gutterly Hopeless gets underway in 4th place, while Tariff Turkeys get rolling in 3rd.

On lanes 3 & 4: In a rather lopsided matchup, the dark horse Bowls Deep sparred with the wrathful No! Not Theo!. While headlined by Chris Hagan with his amazing 452 series, Deeeeeep accomplished only 1 win against Not Theo!. Meanwhile, #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Nick Kinney and his 562 series showed off for Not Theo! as his team took the match with 3 wins. Bowls Deep begins with 5th place, while Not Theo! gets going with 1st.

Finally, down on lanes 5 & 6: In a matchup that could almost be considered unfair, the charming FFK debated whether to go all Tonya Harding on the minions of Satan making up Squid Row. Although topped by Dustin Schmeltz with his 430 series, Fluffykins accomplished only 1 win against Squids. In the meantime, Matthew Taylor with his 577 series guided Squids as his team took the match with 3 wins. FFK leaves the gate in 6th place, while Squids materialize in 2nd.

New personal best series were rolled tonight by Buck Nasty (541, previous best 476) and Chris Hagan (452, previous best 411).

NEXT WEEK:

• First, on lanes 1&2, 6th-place FFK (hcp 152) will tussle with 1st-place No! Not Theo!. Fluffykins are expected to maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Not Theo! is forecast to see their team average take a dive while they avoid getting swept.
• Moving to lanes 3&4, 4th-place Gutterly Hopeless (estimated hcp 136) will match wits with 2nd-place Squid Row. Hopeless might maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Squids ought to drop their average a bit even as they enjoy their victories.
• Finally, on lanes 5&6, 3rd-place Trump's Tariff Turkeys will throw some gutter balls with 5th-place Bowls Deep (estimated estimated hcp 224). Tariff Turkeys are predicted to have a bit of an off night and get swept; while Deeeeeep is anticipated to catapult their team average they rack up a sweep.
