Posted by BowlingBot February 15, 2022 Spring 2022, Week 4 View Score Sheets

Week 4 RoboHeaderThe fourth week of Spring 2022 saw two teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. JoAnne Barber picked up this week's high game (134) and series (358) for the women. As for the men, Seth Gunderson snagged this week's high game with a 249, and high series was earned by Dennis Walling with a 643. Meanwhile, the Tournament of Champions also kicked off tonight, beginning of 13 weeks of one-on-one bowling excitement! Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 1 & 2: With a battle so mismatched that the outcome could trigger the apocalypse, the hopeful darlings Splits & Giggles couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of the minions of Satan making up ChuckaScoot. Although charging into the fray behind Luke Melton with his 403 series, Giggles got swept by Scoot Chuckers. On the adjacent lane, Seth Gunderson with his better-than-normal 594 series called the shots for Scoot Chuckers as they swept the competition. Splits & Giggles remains in 6th place, while Scoot Chuckers move up 1 spot to 1st.

week4On lanes 3 & 4: The Wally McWallingtons had a rendezvous with Going, Going, BALD!. Despite being led by AJ Hofmann with his above-average 505 series, The McWallingtons accomplished only 1 win against Baldness. So what went on with the other team? Well, Dennis Walling with his better-than-normal 643 series oversaw Baldness (with props to #1 Head-to-Head Matthew Taylor and #1 Power-Ranked ) as his team took the match with 3 wins. The Wally McWallingtons drop 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while Baldness sink 1 spot to 2nd.

Finally, down on lanes 5 & 6: With the narrowest of handicaps, Flamboyant Fluffykins traded lane malfunctions with Glory Bowl. Although blessed by Dustin Schmeltz with his below-average 436 series, Flamboyant got swept by Glory. Meanwhile, Kent Harms with his better-than-normal 500 series reigned supreme within Glory (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Collin Lavery) as they swept the competition. Flamboyant Fluffykins drop 1 spot in the standings to 5th place, while Glory jumps 2 spots to 3rd.

Bowlers who lied to their significant other claiming bowling was running long then went out for after-bowling drinks at The 200 Club include: AJ Hofmann (223), Carl Goetz (217), Dennis Walling (215,242), Matthew Taylor (220,226), and Seth Gunderson (249)

Seth Gunderson nabbed this season's men's high game with his 249. Dennis Walling bagged the season's men's high series with his 643.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Matthew Taylor triumphed over his enemies in Division 1, while Kent Harms got the better of Division 2. Chris Windham eradicated Division 3, and Collin Lavery vanquished Division 4. In terms of overall points: Matthew Taylor runs the show in Division 1; Kent Harms is in the driver's seat in Division 2; Chris Windham governs Division 3; and Collin Lavery reigns over Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:

  • First, on lanes 1&2, 2nd-place Going, Going, BALD! will roll against 3rd-place Glory Bowl (hcp 118). Baldness are expected to roll a little low, yet still manage to win the series; while Glory is forecast to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
  • Moving to lanes 3&4, 1st-place ChuckaScoot will compete against 5th-place Flamboyant Fluffykins (hcp 172). Scoot Chuckers might roll a little low, yet still manage to win the series; while Flamboyant ought to drop their average a bit while they avoid getting swept.
  • Finally, on lanes 5&6, 4th-place The Wally McWallingtons will face 6th-place Splits & Giggles (hcp 45). The McWallingtons are predicted to have a bit of an off night, yet still manage to just barely win the series; while Giggles are anticipated to drop their average a bit while they avoid getting swept.

*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
