P.B.R.R.I.P.

Tonight our league received the worst news it has heard since the time the bar ran out of Sam Adams: PBR is being replaced with Boulevard Wheat at the bar because no one was drinking PBR. Tell that to the members of JG's Rusty Nuts, who average 5-6 pitchers of it a week. Their Tuesday nights are ruined. To find out how devastating this news was, read on...

First up, on lanes 1 & 2: Bowl Yer Ballz Off faced off against Less Terra Bowl. Led by #1 power-ranked bowler Rob Kaszuba and his 570 series, Bowl Yer Ballz Off secured 3 wins against Less Terra Bowl. Meanwhile, led by Matthew Taylor and his 570 series, Less Terra Bowl could only claim 1 narrow win. Bowl Yer Ballz Off climbs 3 spots in the standings to 3rd place, while Less Terra Bowl sinks 3 spots to 5th.

On lanes 3 & 4: JG's Rusty Nuts shared quite a few beers with Split It & Hit It. Led by Josh Rothermel and his 409 series, JG's Rusty Nuts guzzled down 3 wins against Split It & Hit It. Meanwhile, led by Russell Bingham and his 545 series, Split It & Hit It could only sip 1 win. JG's Rusty Nuts climbs 3 spots in the standings to 7th place, while Split It & Hit It sinks 3 spots to 10th. It's strange that the news of the loss of the Rusty Nuts' favorite beer triggered wins, but maybe that should take it as a sign to switch to Boulevard Wheat?

On lanes 5 & 6: The completely absent new team Brooklyn Strikers sparred with The Alt-Left. With Brooklyn Strikers forfeiting, all The Alt-Left needed to do was roll within 40 pins of their combined team average each game. Mission accomplished. Lefty John Boren let the antifa with his 392 series, and assisted by this week's Most Valuable Bowler Lefty Ken Wilson, the Alt-Left secured a clean sweep. Brooklyn Strikers drops 5 spots in the standings to 9th place, while The Alt-Left jumps 5 spots to 4th.

On lanes 7 & 8: With one team's lead-off bowler and the other team's anchor off partying together in Vegas, Mustache Cash Stash gambled on carrying an average while NotContra gambled on pre-bowling. Neither proved better. Led by Michael Mead and his 629 series, Mustache Cash Stash split the series with NotContra. Meanwhile, led by #1 Head-to-Head bowler Seth Gunderson and his 641 series, NotContra ended in a stalemate. Mustache Cash Stash remains in 1st place, while NotContra moves up 1 spot to 2nd.

Finally, down on lanes 9 & 10: Roll, Drink, Repeat snuggled up with Holy Sandbaggers, Batman!. Led by Sean Simmons and his 508 series, Roll, Drink, Repeat managed only 1 win against Holy Sandbaggers, Batman!. Meanwhile, led by Aubrey Moren and his 557 series, Holy Sandbaggers, Batman! bagged 3 wins. Roll, Drink, Repeat drops 3 spots in the standings to 8th place, while Holy Sandbaggers, Batman! jumps 2 spots to 6th.

Scoot: "Shit."
