The Spring 2010 season draws to a close, with Empire Strikes Back officially earning this season's championship title! The final week saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (200) and series (529) for the women. As for the men, Aubrey Moren snagged this week's high game with a 219, and high series was earned by Ken M. Wilson with a 589. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 25 & 26: Scoot Gave Us The Schlitz couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of Empire Strikes Back. Although blessed by Bob Brunker with his 524 series, the Schlitz got swept by the Empire. On the flipside, Ken M. Wilson shined in the Empire with his 589 as they swept the competition. Scoot Gave Us The Schlitz drops 1 spot in the standings to close out in 2nd place, while the Empire moves 1 spot to go home with 1st.
On lanes 27 & 28: 3 Pin Moon spent a romantic evening with Lil' Devils. Led by Ryan Doll with his 577 series, 3 Pin Moon collected 3 wins against Lil' Devils. On the other half of the score sheet, Andrea Caudillo guided Lil' Devils with her 423 despite her team notching only a single win. 3 Pin Moon complete in 3rd place, while Lil' Devils sink 1 spot to wind up in 5th.
On lanes 29 & 30: No Pinheads couldn't stop inappropriately groping Bowlumpkin. Headlined by Aubrey Moren with his above-average 545 series, the Pinheads collected 3 wins against Bowlumpkin. On the other side, Jason Carpio commanded Bowlumpkin with his 549 despite his team notching only a single win. No Pinheads leap 1 spot in the standings to end the season in 4th place, while Bowlumpkin sinks 1 spot to come out in 7th.
Finally, down on lanes 31 & 32: The Prak Attack accepted a challenge by Little Lebowski Urban Achievers. Topped by Joe Longstreet with his astounding 430 series, and supported tremendously by real star — trifecta-winner #1 Power-Ranked, #1 Head-to-Head, and Most Valuable Bowler Bill Riley, the Attack celebrated a clean sweep over the Urban Achievers. . With the Urban Achievers forfeiting, all the Attack needed to do was roll within 40 pins of their combined team average each game. Mission accomplished. The Prak Attack leaps 1 spot in the standings to end in 6th place, while the Urban Achievers cros the finish line in 8th.
