The fourteenth week of Fall 2006 saw one team climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (165) and series (463) for the women, while John Boren earned this week's high game (255) and series (666) for the men. First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Hez-Bowl-lah entered a showdown to the death with Frickin' Ten Pins. With the strength of Most Valuable Bowler Jason Carpio and his above-average 547 series, Hez-Bowl-lah split the series with Frickin' Ten Pins. As for the opposition, Carl Goetz oversaw Frickin' Ten Pins with his 520 as they matched their opponent in wins. Hez-Bowl-lah remains in 1st place, while Frickin' Ten Pins remain in 6th.
On lanes 17 & 18: Guttersluts spent some quality time with Split Happens. Highlighting the skills of #1 Power-Ranked John Boren and his thrilling 666 series, the Guttersluts celebrated a clean sweep over Split Happens. . With Split Happens forfeiting, all the Guttersluts needed to do was roll within 40 pins of their combined team average each game. Mission accomplished. Guttersluts remains in 10th place, while Split Happens sink 1 spot to 4th.
On lanes 19 & 20: New Balls, Old Rack took turns kicking the ball return with I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter. Despite being led by Ken M. Wilson with his 577 series, the Old Rack got swept by Not Gutter. Across the ball return, #1 Head-to-Head Ryan Doll took the lead in Not Gutter with his terrific 583 as they swept the competition. New Balls, Old Rack drops 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Not Gutter remains in 9th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Manute Bowl accepted a challenge by All Belts Are Off. Though reinforced by Andy McLeod with his awe-inspiring 506 series, Manute Bowl accomplished only 1 win against the Belt. Countering this, Pat Searcy called the shots for the Belt with his above-average 567 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Manute Bowl remains in 8th place, while the Belt remains in 5th.
Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: TBD faced off against Bowlkake2. Notwithstanding the leadership of David Parre with his 469 series, TBD accomplished only 1 win against Bowlkake2. On the adjacent lane, Cory Chorpenning mastered Bowlkake2 with his above-average 589 as his team took the series with 3 wins. TBD remains in 7th place, while Bowlkake2 jumps 2 spots to 2nd.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Stefan Miller eradicated Division 1, while Ryan Doll clobbered Division 2. Nobody claimed victory in Division 3 (though Phil Schroeder came closest), and Aaron Hoyt cleaned up Division 4. Finally, David Parre (Division 3) swept this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Stefan Miller leads Division 1; Ryan Doll holds the reins in Division 2; Phil Schroeder runs the show in Division 3; and Andy McLeod tops Division 4.

- Finally, on lanes 23&24, 3rd-place New Balls, Old Rack (hcp 22) will test their mettle against 5th-place All Belts Are Off. The Old Rack is predicted to maintain their current strength as they and split the series with the Belt; while the Belt is anticipated to hold steady as they keep the series tied.
