The Spring 2006 season is now underway, with eight teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (173) and series (501) for the women. As for the men, Ken M. Wilson snagged this week's high game with a 226, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 620. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 21 & 22: Bowl Movement deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of Yo Mama. Led by #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Carl Goetz and his 620 series, Bowl Movement collected 3 wins against Yo Mama. Simultaneously, Andy Metzler reigned supreme in Yo Mama with his 471 despite his team notching only a single win. Bowl Movement gets underway in 2nd place, while Yo Mama begins in 6th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Tatonka alternated between bowling and dry humping Split Happens. In spite of the prowess of Andy McLeod with his dazzling 461 series, Tatonka accomplished only 1 win against Split Happens. Concurrently, James Long took the lead in Split Happens with his 519 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Amy Logan) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Tatonka starts out in 7th place, while Split Happens start off with 3rd.

On lanes 25 & 26: I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! waged a heated competition against Guttersluts. Featuring Pat Searcy with his 524 series, the Belt celebrated a clean sweep over Guttersluts. On the flipside, Erin deVries ruled Guttersluts with her 301 despite her team getting swept. I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka! leaves the gate in 1st place, while Guttersluts get going with 8th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Sweeter Than Yoohoo shared a few beers with Bora Bora. Topped by Thomas Lin with his 518 series, Yoohoo split the series with Bora Bora. Meanwhile, Dennis Laube called the shots for Bora Bora with his 588 as they matched their opponent in wins. Sweeter Than Yoohoo begins with 5th place, while Bora Bora commences the season with 4th.
