Take the average of each bowler on your team. Add them together. Now, add together the averages of the bowlers on the team you are facing. Subtract them and multiply that number by .8 – you now have the handicap that the team with the lower averages gets each game. Sometimes it's small, sometimes it's dead even and there is no handicap applied whatsoever. And then...whew.
